First time using this product. I blackened and pan fried the filets. Tasted great and cook well! The pieces were a little small, but overall a nice product.

Catfish frozen mostly good. Have gotten a pack that had gone bad but the store took it back no question asked. The associate would not smell it either. She said she was from South Louisiana and did know what bad seafood smelled like.

I have been buying these catfish filets for many years. As is typical of Sam’s Club the price is wonderful for the size and quality of the fish. I always have a bag in my freezer!

I made these filets tonight and we weren’t able to eat them. They had the strongest fishy taste I’d ever experienced eating fish. We ended up throwing them out. I do not recommend this product.

My family loves southern fried catfish. I was thrilled to find farm raised catfish. I was so disappointed in the quality of this product. The filets were very thin, yet fatty with a lot of dark pieces. There were pieces of skin on several pieces. Cooked catfish should be snowy white. This was not white. I was afraid I hadn't cooked enough, but I ended up throwing away most of it. Don't recommend this at any price.

I have bought these fillets for years and until this recent purchase I would have given the product five stars. I threw away more than half of the fifteen pounds of fish I purchased because it was dark brown or yellow and had fat visible on the sides. I had to trim each piece. Even my cats refused to eat what I discarded. At $18 for 2.5 pounds this is ridiculous. Not sure I will try this product again.
