high quality and slick design from Apple. I am in the iOS ecosystem anyway so would not venture out to android brand. Bought this at Walmart because of incidental sale and saved $30. Did not give 5 stars because other accessories (cover, pen etc...) from Apple are too pricy.

Since this unit is only used for surfing the web, I i thought it would be fine to purchase this instead of the newer version. Well, I i was wrong. This thing is super slow and acts like it has a virus. I have reset to factory default and still have so much frustration with this iPad.

I had a lot of problems with connecting to various networks and when I did the iPad would not keep the connection which was very frustrating. I tried to connect with Apple for support but they didn't recognize my iPad since I didn't purchase it through them

I'm disappointed. Everything is good about this iPad except…it's durability is awful. This is a completely unsupported section along the top by the forward facing camera that has no support behind it. Just empty space. If too much pressure is applied with just your fingers tips it will break and cave it immediately cracking your screen and leaving a hole. Now that the hole is there in just that one spot the whole durability of the screen is now weak and compromised. I would not expect Apple to make a product that had such a gap in between glass and the framework. I have AppleCare but it's ridiculous that I already have to pay out of pocket to have it fixed for a poorly designed piece of hardware that could have easily had this gap supported to avoid easy breaking from compression. I bought this in store. I doubt they will let me return it so I can apply the money I paid towards a newer Gen iPad. But I will ask.

The IPAD review pictures has a "What's Included in the Box" picture that shows a portable keyboard and Pencil included in the box. That description is what led me to make this purchase. The description may be worse that misleading. Buyer beware of Sam's description. I am sure the IPAD itself will be fine, however this experience is not.

I recently picked up the 2021 Apple 10.2-inch iPad and I have to say, I'm really impressed. The screen is crisp and bright, and it's lightning fast thanks to the A13 Bionic chip. I love that I can use it with the Apple Pencil for taking notes and drawing (bummer that it's only the first gen Apple Pencil, that's really strange), and the battery life is amazing. Plus, the new iPadOS update has some really cool features that make it even more versatile. Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful and portable tablet.

I needed to buy this to replace my brother's 11-year-old iPad which he used exclusively to communicate because he has autism. It was still working perfectly a week or two ago when Apple said "For optimal user experience we are disabling this app." Suddenly, my brother didn't have a voice, and it would take 6-12 months to get another one through his support coordinator--if ever. I don't know what we would have done if we couldn't put the money together. He wouldn't have had a voice indefinitely. It appears that iPads can last forever, but Apple doesn't want them to.

The ipad runs smoothly and does not have any problems. I would recommend buying it.
