It is an older unit but offered just what I needed. The extra screen size versus a phone screen is helpful, while also providing similar portability to a cell phone. It can also function for work or personal use cases. The security provided by biometric touch ID is also a feature I appreciate.

I bought this for my grandson. He loves it. I bought this online and returned it, then bought it again just to have the serial numbers on my receipt. I wish they already had that information on the online receipts. If you ever have to deal with Apple support you will need it. That why I didn't give it a 5 star

I was nervous purchasing a refurbished I pad. This was a fabulous purchase!! Long lasting battery, easy to use, crystal clear screen- I spent a long time looking. Could not afford a new one, but my favorite dragon game had literally outgrown my phone. This solved the issue. Merry Christmas to me!

I bought this iPad June 25th, 2023. I also have an iPad pro. my main reason for this purchase is that my pro needs repairs and this one is a backup to use while I wait. Pros: - smooth iPad usage and interface, as always - set up automatically and directly from my phone - inexpensive entry level iPad - lightweight, good for travel - comes with a charger cable and wall plug (not all do) -charges with a standard iPhone cable (lightning) which is a plus if you already have an iPhone and cables for it Cons: - no face id - no apple pencil2 compatibility, so i can't use my existing pencil 2 with this device - smaller screen overall due to bezel - Small quibble: it didn't automatically import my Gboard keyboard correctly, so editing is strictly inline with limited autocorrect options and dictionary until i manually install it. Odd things like lack of automatic capitalization of “i” are really bothering me. i'll need to get that updated ASAP. Overall, in comparison to the pro, this feels like a definite step down. But if you can't afford the $800 price tag of the pro or are new to the iPad ecosystem this is a solid choice.

Absolutely loving it. Still using for school, reading, and entertainment (shows, mostly). Got a case and pen from amazon for studying /note taking and haven't looked back. Barely use my laptop now, this thing does everything from emails to text messaging (because I have an iPhone too), note taking, and FaceTime with family and friends. Would recommend. At a great price too!

Love the quality and ease of use. Got this for my toddler to use for games, movies, digital coloring, pictures, etc. It's an excellent device for so many different uses, and for all ages!
