Exceptional Tire!

Best all season tire yet! I've had them for approx. 18 months... great handling year around especially during the Winter months here in the Midwest. I did opt to go with P245/45R17 instead of P225/50R17... a bit more rubber on the road which made a major difference. Prefer them over the Pilot Sport A/S Sport.

perfect tires

I purchased a 14 Avalon xle touring with these tires on it from factory. I've had the car for a little less than a month and these tires give the car a very comfortable ride! I can't speak on the tread life for only having it for such a short time now but I use to have the Pilot MXM4 on my 11 Accord ex v6 and the tread lasted very well for daily spirited commutes to work. I recommend the Primacy and the Pilot MXM4 for anyone looking for a quiet comfortable ride without sacrificing handling, traction and performance.

Exceed Expectations

The Primacy MXM4 were the tires that came on my 2014 Avalon. I was very pleased with the ride and the life of the tire. After 83,000 miles I just changed my tires to the Premier A/S. The ride of the Primacy MXMA was awesome! When new, I often felt like I was floating in air, the ride was luxury, almost now road noise and the performance was awesome. I live in Kentucky and our Spring season is often extremely wet. My tires always performed well, even the high mileage. Reluctantly purchased new tires, only because the noise level increased. Two days ago, I purchased the Michelin Premiere A/S. Not sure I’m enjoying the quality of the ride as well. It’s a bit stiffer, not the same luxury ride and seem to grip the road vs gliding across the road. However, the verdict is still out.

Outstanding Tires

My 2014 Toyota Avalon Limited came with the OEM version of these tires, and they lasted 54,000, plus km. I replaced them with the same tires and I was, and I am, very impressed with the performance, quiet, and handling of these tires. I have always been completely satisfied over the years from the Michelin tires recommended for my model of car. I would not consider purchasing any other brand of tires.

Good mileage Good handling

Most of my driving is in town, I drive a hybrid rated at 40mpg combined and I get 43.5 average on these tires. My car has very quick handing and these tires hug the road great. The wear an tear on these tires appears to be about normal but with only 14K miles it is probably to early to make an accurate prediction.

I will be purcashing these tires again!

Well after my previous sets of tires these are amazing! Whether it's raining or I'm running it hard on a back country road I feel confident in these tires! Also I've got 5k miles and when they were new they were 9/32" ish and now they are 8/32"ish. Usually I go through a set of tires a year and at this rate these bad boys may last 2 years with my driving habits. I'd still buy these again even if they didn't last over a year due to their quality.

Not holding up

I have a 2018 Tesla Model 3 with only approx 18,000 miles and Tesla said I already need new tires. After reading the reviews I realized I'm not the only one who's having this problem. These tires came with my brand new Tesla Model 3. After researching the tire because I already need a new set, you're saying the tires that I need to replace have a warranty of 50,000 miles? That simply isn't true and it's no wonder why Tesla doesn't offer a warranty on them. I'm really confused.

We understand the Primacy MXM4 tires on your 2018 Tesla did not meet your expectation in terms of mileage. A member of our Consumer Care team will be in contact with you. You may also reach our office at 1-866-866-6605.

great tire

As soon as I got in the car from getting the tires on I could tell the difference in the handling. They ride smooth and quite and do a great job in the snow. One thing that I am disappointed in is the gas mileage dropped from 27 to 23 on the highway. This is my 3rd set of Michelins. Great tires and will buy again.

Good Quality, Questionable Value

These Tires were original to my FWD 2014 Buick Regal Turbo. Rotated every 5K miles. They were comfortable, decent performance and overall good tires. I recently replaced them with Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 Plus. These last a good long time, 100,000 miles, 50,000 miles each tire on the drive wheels which is right on par with the warranty. The reason I didn't purchase these again is because they are really expensive. I understand that they are touring sport tires so they have to be both comfortable and have good performance and tread life but when i switched to the continentals, the new tires were just as comfortable even though they're ultra performance all season. These tires run even more expensive than the critically acclaimed Michelin pilot sports. The MXM4s also have pretty thin soft side wall, maybe for comfort but it was flushed with the rim so no protection from curb rashing the rim. The rubber compound is softer which makes for great stopping in wet but the trade off is they don't last as long as rivals, especially for heavier vehicles like EVs. Overall a Good tire, but for the money you can buy a tire that offers more for less, including offerings from Michelin.

Above and beyond my expectations

Replaced my goodyear eagle RSA's (which were horribe) on my 2009 Nissan Maxima SV sport 245/40/19 94v with the Michelin Primacy MXM4. I did a lot of reseach and read many reviews. It was between the Kuhmo Ecsta4x and the Michelin Primacy MXM4's. Both had good characteristics and reviews. I went with the Michelin's because of the name and the video of the track test done by tirerack. I have put approximately 2000 miles on the tires and they are all the reviews said and more. Handling is superb, Low to No road noise, wet traction incredible, comfort and ride quality is awesome. I feel more confident with the new Michelin tires as well. It also seems i am able to stop easier with less effort and distance, I have not had the chance yet to comment on snow traction but i live in Connecticut so i'm sure i'll have the chance soon. Overall, these tires have exceeded my expectations in all categories. They also have a 55,000 mile treadlife warranty
