So Loud and overheats!

Although advertised as quiet it is not, the loud fan cannot be turned off even when warming something for 15 sec.--very loud. It overheats easy so if you plan on cooking something over 15 min. it will completely shut off and cool off for 20-25 min before coming back on, just to repeat the shutting off when you resume cooking. You can only reheat or cook for short amount of time with this. Called LG and fan can't be turned off during cooking, even for less than one min, a beverage, etc. When I called in they ask questions like is the door shut when you try to use it. This help needs to improve and I am going to replace this for one that will cook and is quiet: getting rid of after having it 2 months.

How Sam's and LG ruined Thanksgiving

Three weeks ago, I called both Sam's Club and LG to confirm that this appliance would be delivered before Thanksgiving. Both promised that it would. They missed the first delivery date with no notice. I called and was promised the following Monday. Monday came and went, no delivery, no notice. On my next call, they promised the Monday AFTER Thanksgiving. I'm quite sure they'll miss that date, too. Sam's and LG lied to get a sale, ruining Thanksgiving for my family. Now I have to end a 23-year Sam's membership that I was otherwise happy with. Lies for profit are non-recoverable.

So modern looking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, with all the microwaves we’ve had in the last 17 years I think this is the 4th and our first LG brand, this thing really looks pretty and so modern cause it has WiFi connection. Aside from looks, the build is pretty solid, easy to install, heats up food so fast and alerts you on your phone when it’s done. Downside for me is, it really attracts finger prints smudges on the stainless and glass part and they’re very hard to take off. Other than that, so far so good. The question lies how long this will last.

Cheap parts

I've had this microwave for all of a year and a half. Maybe a month less. The magnetron already went out and it no longer heats. Manufactured in June 2023 and didn't even make it 2 years. Bought in September of 2023. I won't by LG appliances ever again.

Service isn't worth the product

Haven't had this microwave/range 6 months and it doesn't work. Getting on the schedule of the repair people is a NIGHTMARE. They claim to be in their slow season and I should be back up and running but I have been without for a month now. RIDICULOUS! Save your Benjamin's and buy something else!

LG Over the stove microwave. MVEM1825

I have been using this product for several months now and it is nothing special. The light that comes with the unit should be replaced as soon as you buy it. The program features are poor and what you can do with the wifi is useless. It does look good. I would prefer if is had a white interior.

Love the Black Stainless Steel color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure how the LG microwave would look with my other brand appliances (stove and refrigerator), but it looks really nice. We have the "black stainless steel" color, which had to be ordered separately, but well worth the wait. The microwave works great. I especially like the one-touch start for a minute or 2 or 3. So easy! I also love the 30 seconds button. Overall, we are very happy with our LG microwave oven!

Looks good but disappointing to use

Pro's: modern sleek look, cooks well, several presets, easy to use. Cons: 1) touch screen is not backlit, 2) noisy fan turns on automatically when I use the microwave, according to user manual it is only supposed to turn on automatically when it senses heat below from a burner. 3) no way to turn off the melody sounds. 4) cannot connect to thinq app even though I followed all directions.
