Interior light died.
The interior light died after one year. It’s not a lightbulb. It’s an LED strip in order to get to it. You’ll have to take it down. Remove the outside. Cover to change it. Who wants to do this every year? Not me! After looking this up on the Internet, I found out there are hundreds if not thousands of people with the same issue and LG is doing nothing about it.

"Free installation" if you're lucky
Wish I could tell you how well it works. Unfortunately, the "free installation" is the stupidest system I've ever seen. The particular company that does the scheduling is completely incompetent and horribly run (RXO). Basically, the way they do it is to send you text messages and call you from unknown numbers. When you reply, you have to navigate the menu to get to a person. After that, the procedure is to just keep scheduling you and spamming you with texts until an appointment finally actually clicks with an available slot with the installer. Then, when they came, they said they couldn't do it because of a screw in the cabinet that needed to be moved. (Of course. There's always something.) They said to call the number after my husband had moved it to reschedule, which was just literally a lie. After calling the company back, there really just isn't a procedure for that, which the installer probably knew when he said it to me because he wanted to leave. The holes that they had screwed weren't in the right place, either. If they had done them in the right place to begin with, it might not have even been an issue. Anyway, I will definitely be keeping this experience in mind the next time I purchase an appliance from sam's with "free installation."

Oven light burned out, can't change! Model 1825
As other owner of the 1825 microwave manufacturered in 2024, impossible to replace burned out bulb withoutaservicecall$$$. I have not been able to find any reliable information, LG, does not have not any videos to explain how to replace light. VERY UNHAPPY!!

Looks good but Nothing else good
This unit looks great and the only real good feature is the ability to turn off the sound. Other than that, it is underpowered compared to other units that have lower Watts. The magnetron died in a year, the thing rattles and buzzes loudly. Just had the transformer replaced. The inside light no longer works and it is not consumer replaceable. So another service call and have to take the thing down off the wall and disassemble just to change a light bulb. Who would ever think its a good idea to bury a light bulb where it cant be replaced.

Not recommended. Have to press selections fairly hard to get them to work and sometimes they don't work at all until I open and close the door a couple of times to reset. Additionally, when microwaving something for a fairly long time (more than ten or twelve minutes), the microwave shuts off completely (no digital readout, no light in the microwave, nothing) after several minutes to a half hour, it comes on again. It is nice looking and easy to clean, but frustrating to use. Lastly, fingerprints show up very prominently and when I try to clean them off, the functions come on becasue the buttons are integral to the face of the microwave.
