So far like everything about the microwave except the stove top lighting. You put led lights IN the microwave, why not in the cooktop light too? Guess I”ll have to my find my own led bulb so I can see to cook.

Happy with its function. Looks nice. Door could be heavier- thin plastic as compared to prior microwave. Would have preferred stainless interior rather than gray as it would be brighter to see inside better for older people.

LG Microwave Failure after 1 year, 7 days

Purchased on 16 January 2025, Sam's Club installed after a four-week delay by the contractor. Worked fine until 23 January 2026. Failed with a loud buzz, and went dead. The purchase date applies to the warranty, not the install date. No help from LG Electronics. Microwave died on 23 January, seven days past the warranty. Now looking for a new microwave, LG is NOT on the list. Unable to give a 0 Star rating I would not recommend purchasing this product.

I'm not sure what good a 10year life on the Magnetron is when the whole microwave is basically a throw away item when the Magnetron fails like mine did after less than 5 years of use. Poor quality product.

Looks good but Nothing else good

This unit looks great and the only real good feature is the ability to turn off the sound. Other than that, it is underpowered compared to other units that have lower Watts. The magnetron died in a year, the thing rattles and buzzes loudly. Just had the transformer replaced. The inside light no longer works and it is not consumer replaceable. So another service call and have to take the thing down off the wall and disassemble just to change a light bulb. Who would ever think its a good idea to bury a light bulb where it cant be replaced.

Interior light out again

Interior light went out after 10 months. It's not just a bulb, but an expensive circuit board and was replaced under warranty last May. It's out again after 5 months. LG won't replace it again, because microwave is now out of warranty. Evidently, this is common with this unit and LG needs to recall it. But since it's not a safety issue, this probably won't happen.

Oven light burned out, can't change! Model 1825

As other owner of the 1825 microwave manufacturered in 2024, impossible to replace burned out bulb withoutaservicecall$$$. I have not been able to find any reliable information, LG, does not have not any videos to explain how to replace light. VERY UNHAPPY!!
