I have bought many of the various flavors offered over the years. Yet, I hadn't tried THIS one before… It doesn't taste anything like cake batter. It tastes like their vanilla shakes with a hint of cinnamon. Not horrible, but not like cake mix at all. It's quite sweet, too. Mine weren't lumpy (yet), although most of the Premiere shakes get that way over time. As I only use them for a quick meal replacement (before heading out to run errands/do yard work), and normally drink them as fast as I can (simply to get some protein), I don't ever sit around just savoring/enjoying ANY of these shakes. Yes, I'll chug-through the rest of the case…but, I won't be buying this one again; I'll stick to the chocolate, as I think it has the best taste overall.

When I order these drinks from Sam's, they inevitably come with chunks in them. I'm not sure if it's the temp they're stored at or the length of time they've been sitting in the warehouse. If I order the 4-pack from Kroger at $9.99 a piece, I never get a chunky shake. I'm willing to pay more for not gagging on chunks of protein. Blechh!!

Cake batter premier shake is the absolute best!!!!

I buy these drinks to support diabetes care. They are essential to us. Very effective and very tasty.

This is my second case of these. The first box was great. This second box was all lumpy inside and wouldn't mix no matter how much I shook it. Gross!

I like it. It’s more interesting than the vanilla. One of my favorites, along with the PB chocolate and the latte flavors.

I have had a total of 4 from my pack and 2 out of the 4 were chunky. I don't think I'll be buying those again.

I’ve been disappointed with the quality of taste in protein drinks. The aftertaste is usually awful. But Birthday Cake is best by far. Please keep it in stock.

Usually stick with vanilla and chocolate protein shakes. But this cake batter flavor is great. I put in coffee, make it as a shake with ice or just drink straight! Recommend.
