These have been an excellent tire for bonding with the road whether the roads are dry, wet or snow covered. They are quiet and have great wear. I have them on my vehicles and had them installed on my kids vehicles. Worth the investment. Provides peace of mind. I highly recommend !

I was already convinced to buy these tires. This set is better, and handles better than previous set of LTX I had a few years ago, and they performed extremely well. On previous set of tires, on a Yukon, my wife had a 'generator' trailer come off hitch ahead of her, on 6 lane interstate. Between the Michelin tires, Stabilitrak on Yukon and anti-lock brakes, she was able to maneuver from one side of highway to other, multiple times, coming down from 60mph, to avoid the erratic trailer.

Got a good price on these tires over the phone. Salesman switched me to a house brand. We could not get the vibration balanced out after 3 times including a "road force" balance. I insisted he take them off and give me the Michelins for which I originally asked. We installed the Michelins and with one or two tiny weights, instead of all the heavy ones on all the wheels, I have the smoothest ride anyone could ask for. It made me remember the words of a friend who was a service advisor for a car dealer who told people with balance problems, "do yourself a favor and let me sell you some Michelins. In every case it solved the problem. I will ONLY use Michelins!

In the last two weeks I have had two sets (265/65/17) installed and now they are coming of my 4Runner and being replaced with another brand. I have always heard that Michelin was a top tire, but my experience has been terrible. Two out of four from the last set were out of round and it didn't matter what method of balancing was used (we tried road force and traditional) and it didn't matter. The first set was worse so i expect they had the same problem. Very unhappy with the amount of time and trips to tire shop dealing with bad manufacturing / quality control. Will never purchase again.

I mounted these tires on a 2008 Chevrolet Suburban. The ride is incredibly smooth. I have been a loyal Michelin customer for just about as long as I have been buying tires. These tires provide the ride and durability I have come to expect from the Michelin Man.

I had run-flat Pirelli tires on my new Durango R/T...I replaced them after not even 12,000 miles with the Michelin Defenders.... HUGE Difference! Quieter. Better ride and better traction. I had these on my Jeep Grand Cherokee too and they are far superior to any other tire I have used

I have used the defender tires for years on my vehicles and love them in every way. Bought a chev pu and the tires were still good, but did not like them and had to replace with these defender tires , could not wait the other tires were loud and did not drive as nice. I will only use michelin tires. My spouse does think it makes that much difference but it does.

I have Dodge Durango with 221,000 miles on the odometer and I just mounted my THIRD set of MICHELIN LTX M/S tires on my vehicle at about 214,000 miles. With my first set of tires I replaced them with usable tread left after 90,000 miles because I didn't want to go through a Minnesota winter with them. My second set gave me a healthy 70,000 miles wear. These tires are great for all season driving; superb for wet and snow roads, very responsive, quite and comfortable (but they are mounted with Bilstein shocks). I've owned two Durangos before this one and it's the same story with Michelin tires - great mileage and great serviceability. My cars in the past have been Mercedes and Volvo's - and again the same story, great tires with long life and excellent performance a reliable and safe tire. Very best tire made for the general market. None better, worth every penny . . . don't hesitate: Need tires? Save time and just say, - - - MICHELIN.

I bought this tire a couple of weeks ago and can not believe the difference this tire has made in the performance of my Silverado. It doesn’t feel like the same truck. Ride, steering, tracking in dry, wet and off road conditions is Excellent, with no noticeable noise. This is a very comfortable riding tire for a truck. Highly recommend these tires. Defender LTX M/S 275/50R22 111H.

I am using on a Mercedes ML 320 CDI This is all wheel drive and they are not wearing smooth,I think I will go to the Lattude type next. I believe I bought the wrong tire for the vechicle. I thought they were the quiest tires ever until the first rotation and then they begin to roar and wear uneven, they are good tires but I think they are more for a truck.
