I bought these to make a fruit salad. I used 2 pomegranate, 2 satsumas, 2 pears, 1 cup of grapes cut in half, 1/2 cup coconut, 1/2 cup small marshmallows & 1/2 lemon squeezed to pour over mixture. I made it the day before Thanksgiving so the flavors could marinate. My family enjoyed & it was a lovely addition to the meal. The rest of the pomegranates were used in fruit smoothies.

I have purchased Pom pomegranates at Sam's Club for as long as I've been a member and always looked forward to them as a seasonal treat, but this year has been very disappointing. At over $12 for a crate of just four pomegranates, I expected much better quality. Of the four, only two were edible; the others looked fine on the outside but were a strange grayish‑brown color inside once I cut them open, so they had to be thrown away. This happened on two separate purchase dates, and both times I bought two crates, so it does not seem like a one‑time issue. For the price, I can't justify buying them again unless the quality improves.

We look forward to pomegranate season, at Sam's Club, every year. They consistantly sell fresh, BIG, juicy pomegranates at a competitive price.

Have been buying these by the dozens every since they came in season, Until this week. Bought the best of the last few out in the produce department, and will have to ask for credit as they were brown and mushy inside, Thus the 4 star rating. Before this week they definitely deserved TEN stars. Have been fabulous!

The inside of the pomegranates had a brown discoloration with a very unpleasant flavor
