I have bought this type of cheese on multiple occasions and every single time within a few weeks of purchase it is covered in mold. I always have it sealed when Im done and the expiration date is always 2 -3 months away, but not matter I end up having to throw it away before I can finish it. The mold issue is not limited to Sharp cheddar. I have had the same problem with mild cheddar, provolone, and baby swiss. I have no problem buying Member's Mark items, but when it comes to cheese it's not worth saving a few dollars. I will never buy this cheese again.

I suppose Member's Mark is trying to make more money by using no paper dividers between the cheese slices. This might be just OK with some cheeses, but with cheddar it doesn't work. Every slice gets stuck to the next so you will never be able to get a whole slice out of the package without it being broken or crumbling. Pathetic. Won't be buying Member's Mark cheese again.

Has happened more than once. . . Open the package and *MOLDY*. What the heck?? 'Best if used by date' is 23 Sept 2024 and cheese was purchased in-store 4 days ago, put in a cooler-bag for the 20 minute drive and put in refrigerator upon arrival home. Most discouraging and very disappointed that this occurs often enough for us to now avoid buying any cheese from Sam's. To note: When cheese is NOT moldy, it's quite delicious with a good texture and melt point.

You used to have the separated sheets in the middle of each slice. That made us able to divide package in half straight down middle half of package. Please put it back that way. Saves freshness better. Also, I feel you changed from the true sharp flavor. Right now it is not as sharp tasting at all. More bland. Help!!

I used to buy the Tillamook brand, awesome! Then Sam’s discontinued that brand and brought in their own members mark cheeses. The slices are thinner and it goes bad soooo fast. I have bought numerous times along with the members mark shredded cheeses and they all go bad within 1 week or less. I don’t recommend and suggest Sam’s brings tillamook brand back.

First time buying this and it's so bad that I'm writing a review and throwing it out. Why is this cheese gritty? Taste another brand like Kraft or Sargento and you can tell right away that something is wrong here. No this is not good cheese at all but I'll submit that maybe it's old. Please! Bring back other good brands until members mark can get it together. This low quality cheese is cheap because it is CHEAP.
