We have purchased this item from Sam's Club before and was pleased with the quality and flavor, however the last several packages were not as good. The slices were dry and rubbery and not at all tasting like sharp Cheddar cheese. We will be getting the store brand from the local supermarket chain from now on.

I used to buy the Tillamook brand, awesome! Then Sam’s discontinued that brand and brought in their own members mark cheeses. The slices are thinner and it goes bad soooo fast. I have bought numerous times along with the members mark shredded cheeses and they all go bad within 1 week or less. I don’t recommend and suggest Sam’s brings tillamook brand back.

First time buying this and it's so bad that I'm writing a review and throwing it out. Why is this cheese gritty? Taste another brand like Kraft or Sargento and you can tell right away that something is wrong here. No this is not good cheese at all but I'll submit that maybe it's old. Please! Bring back other good brands until members mark can get it together. This low quality cheese is cheap because it is CHEAP.

We go through cheese like crazy, and we prefer the sharp cheddar over any other, yet it's sometimes is hard to find pre sliced. This was perfect. And it comes with papers in between, which makes pulling out the slices so much easier. Medium slices....just perfection for our fam!

All of my slices were stuck together. Why slice the cheese and not put paper between?

this used to be great. But something changed. Its gets moldy within days. We have tried repackaging and nothing helps

Second time item has molded. I made sure to double wrap in zip lock bags. I won't be buying this item again.

They used to package it with paper between slices, wish they still did that. Slices get stuck together and then crumble when you try to pull them apart.

This is good solid mildly sharp cheddar cheese, at a decent price. I've bought dozens of these packs in recent years and never got a bad batch. At worst, a couple times it had a blander creamier texture (like Kraft singles) with less of the dry slightly crumbly texture. Resealable bag has worked fine almost all the time. Some mornings when in a hurry, 1 or 2 slices for breakfast helps me get going. YMMV.
