Lasko CT16670 Digital Ceramic Tower Heater with Remote Control

Good for small 8x8 room.

Great heater keeps the big bed room warm

twice it didn't stop at the set temperature. Room was extremely hot both times and guessing a thermal protector tuned it off. Returned it - afraid it's a fire hazard.

I just purchased this unit today and once I turned it on there was a high pitched screeching sound coming from it and the smell of burning plastic.  I will be returning immediately!  Lasko quality has gone down tremendously

I thought this would be a quality product as I own other Lasko products. However, this product poses a serious safety risk. It does not turn off when the temperature, it continues to run on high heat. My room got close to 90 degrees and I had it set to 75. Do not fall asleep with this on, do not have this in the room with children or pets.

Price is high as it is small in size and covers closer area.Product quality is great , works as designed. Can be used as an alternate for centralised or entire heater vs use as needed and be economical to save energy and money. Remote feature is  great , no need to get up to change setting or turn on/off.The heat is sufficent if used  for 3 to 5 feet distance.
