Lasko CT16670 Digital Ceramic Tower Heater with Remote Control

Bought 1 in '21 and liked being able to set the desired temp, so bought another to replace an older Lasko model that the thermostat never worked well. This year, both units have started running non-stop at random, ignoring the thermostat.  93 in my elderly mother's room just now.

This heater gets hot quick but it beeps loudly every time you push a button. I enjoy the remote feature so I don't have to get out of bed at night to turn it on but the loud beeping wakes up my husband. The beeping gets annoying after awhile. Wish they made it so you can turn that off.

I thought this would be a quality product as I own other Lasko products. However, this product poses a serious safety risk. It does not turn off when the temperature, it continues to run on high heat. My room got close to 90 degrees and I had it set to 75. Do not fall asleep with this on, do not have this in the room with children or pets.

I love this little heater! I bought it for under my desk as my feet are ALWAYS cold!! I didn't even realize it had a remote when I bought it and now I don't know how I lived with out one! Lollol It heats up fast and I like the rotate function as well!! A great purchase!!
