How does one review a vitamin? It was suggested I take it, so I do. What it does? Besides help make bones stronger and help immune system I have no idea!

I just purchased this product and am delighted at how small the gel caps are. There is a visual reference on the bottle for the shape and true size of the pill, and it is 100% accurate. The gel caps are soft and go down like a breeze! This is important to me because I have trouble swallowing medium or large medication tablets, and it's pretty hopeless if they are uncoated. I found out that there are two types of vitamin D supplements - D2 and D3. Basically, D2 comes from plants sources and D3 is what's made by your skin. I read information online that claims vitamin D3 supplements are better absorbed by your body than D2 supplements, so I'm giving this product a try since prescription mega doses of vitamin D2 did not work well to raise my blood levels. Please note that my rating is based only on the physical attributes of the gel caps, and not on the effectiveness of the supplement being beneficial to anyone's health.

This is hard to write a review on because you can't tell if it's working unless you have blood drawn. It was a fair price for the amount of pills.

Purchased the vitamins, sent to a friend. Just found out the expiration on the tablet is within 6 months. How can complain about it or return for a longer expiration it was already sent outside country to a friend who needs it. And they are 3 bottles with expiration date within 6 months and its 400 capsules. You could not even consume everything and it already expires.

I will not be buying this brand again because of the smell. The previous brand Sam's was selling was good.

Buyer beware. I got a bottle of these today via member's pickup and didn't think to check that the item wasn't damaged. After all, it's a vitamin not something like a dairy product. When I got home and opened the bottle, the little softgels had melted together into one solid lump.

After several years of being extremely pleased with how these vitamins work and their excellent value, I will no longer buy them or recommend anyone anyone else buy them. As of January 2023, it seems these vitamins have a new label but that's not all; they are no longer USP Verified to contain the labeled amount of vitamin per softgel. Having this verification is absolutely necessary for me to purchase vitamins. I will now only buy from a competitor that uses this verification on their warehouse brand or from NatureMade (the first to use it).
