Worse gas mileage tire I have ever owned.

I only buy Michelin tires as they are proven to be the best, I have been a faithful Michelin tire owner for many years, and however, my latest Michelin purchase I am not happy with. My MPG has dipped 3 to 4 miles per gallon since I put these tires on. These were the most expensive tires they had at the store and I was told the best Michelin tires they had, so I was quick to purchase thinking I couldn’t go wrong. Well, that's is not the case. While the tires give a smooth, quiet ride, the reduction in gas millage leaves me more than disappointed. The original brand tires the vehicle came with gave me much better millage and those were worn out

Very Pleased With Performance

I was actually thinking about the comfort and the smooth ride I get with these Tires and I like them enough to buy again. The cracking and appearance of My old one's is rushing Me, I'm only at 50% or maybe 40% tread, I would be able to get another Season or 2 at least.....it'd be worth the money then.

CReaM, we'd suggest that you have the tires inspected by a Michelin retailer in your area to get more info on the cracking. Call us at 866-866-6605 from their store. One of our Consumer Care Team members can assist you.

3 sets of Michelins all exceeded Warranty Milage

Dear Sir or Madam: Back in 2004 I purchased my Nissan pathfinder Armada LE a 6500 lb SUV. After Trying other Brands I and being gravely disappointed on how poorly the tires lasted, I purchased my first set, my second set and now my 4th set of Michelin Tires. The Armada now has 240,000 miles on it. A lot of miles in the rearview mirror, but my Michelin lasted well past the Warranty stated at purchased. And yes I used Nirogen, and did the rotations and alignments and balancing etc. And Hocus Pocus they lasted, well past the warranty milage...So the "Beast" just keeps rolling. best Regards, Gray Ghost, Raleigh NC

MICHELIN Defender LTX M/S-- 245/55R19 Simply the best !

I installed these tires on a 2014 Lexus RX 350 because I needed exceptional performance in all weather conditions and these tires have delivered over time as I have purchased them twice on my 4Runner and were the only tires that I have used in the past 10 years. The Lexus came with the Michelin Latitude Touring HP tires and although they are great in the summer, they definitely are not meant for winter driving. I did not desire to invest in a dedicated winter tire because of the cost and inconvenience to do seasonal changeovers. But the Defender tire could be labeled as an " All Weather Tire" as it is that good in the snow.

Much improved ride

Needed new tires for my 2018 Honda CR-V and wanted to improve the ride quality. These tires nailed it! Much improved in both the ride handling, smoothness, and lower road noise inside the vehicle. Also simply feels more sure-footed in the rain. Looking forward to seeing a difference in winter snow.

WELL WORTH IT

I did a lot of research on my tires. I wanted quiet but aggressive tires for all road conditions. Discussion with the tire supplier was a choice situation. I have ridden on Michelin tires since the 1970's. Michelin has simply improved all along. I have done all types of driving in the NWT, Yukon and outback BC. Paved, gravel, off road and a side wall rock puncture - replaced The thing that made the choice final was the fact that my truck driver neighbour showed my his Michelins on his truck. He said his Defenders have served him well. I also have 6 Michelin LTX tires on our motor home RV. Great product with a great guarantee.

Great 3 season tires!

I bought these tires more than a year ago. I call them 3 season tires as we have 6 months of snow tire necessity in the north. I always buy the best I can afford and Michelin is a very good price for the quality. My wife and I both feel safe on wet or dry pavement and I have found that the road noise in our SUV has decreased dramatically since changing to Michelin. I have always leaned toward Michelin for the reasons above and lastly, if we get caught in an early snowstorm or ice storm I will always feel safe. We have the Defender LTX M/S

Tires have excellent response and feel, with comfort.

I was already convinced to buy these tires. This set is better, and handles better than previous set of LTX I had a few years ago, and they performed extremely well. On previous set of tires, on a Yukon, my wife had a 'generator' trailer come off hitch ahead of her, on 6 lane interstate. Between the Michelin tires, Stabilitrak on Yukon and anti-lock brakes, she was able to maneuver from one side of highway to other, multiple times, coming down from 60mph, to avoid the erratic trailer.

Best light truck general purpose tire available

I have had 5+ sets of these on 2 different suburbans, 1) f150 std cab longbox, 1) Chevrolet dually cab-chassis with dump and snow-plow, and now on my '14 Superduty Kingranch. If my continued patronage of this specific tire doesn't speak volumes, I don't know what..I am in Wisconsin, and snow and ice traction are important. These tires are excellent in snow and ice, without quick wear like a winter tire 80k/set. Ride comfort is outstanding. I replaced the Michelin AT tires with these on the superduty, and they are 10 times better for traction and comfort. If you are wondering if these tires are worth the extra money, they absolutely are!
