This tire is the best one on the road for me. I have over the years taken this tire way, way off road and often I've pulled 4x4's with more aggressive tires than these out of situations they could not get through on their own. I drive a stock 2013 Ram 1500 4wd and these tires not only take me wherever I want to go but they ride smooth. I often go in sand, snow, mud, rocks, you name it and this tire is gonna get you through. It takes a long steady foot on the accelerator but these tires will find a way to get you through. I am female, and dont know a whole of technical stuff about tires, but I do know I am really happy to have these tires for my Tahoe. they seem to make the drive quieter and when we hit a slick patch of road while driving in very cold temps the tires dug in and we did not skid. made me feel very safe.... a big plus-they look very cool on my Tahoe, and after driving on them for a several weeks the still look brand new.

I love these tires. When I say these tires have superior traction, I've had tires for six months and i driven through mud, wet grass and wet pavement and these tires never loss traction. I love them and I recommend them to anybody who drives a truck! One more thing, these tires make a truck look so good!

These replaced OE Goodyear RS-A’s. One of the Goodyear’s suffered a belt separation and complete failure while towing. The Defender’s have a more comfortable ride and better traction, particularly in the rain. This Michelin was a significant upgrade.

I have been driving and buying tires for over 50 yrs and these LTX M/S are by far the smoooothest riding tires I ever had. I could feel the difference in 2 blocks. I only have 200 miles on them so I have to wait and see how they last. I only give them 4 stars because I just bought them. They are NOT cheap but I think they will be worth it.

Replaced factory 4Runner tires with these and love them. Smooth, quiet, with good traction. My only complaint is there is not a 275/70/17 option which would allow a clean fit without having to modify the 4Runner at all, which is necessary with the 285s. If you made a 275/70/17 it would definitely be my next set after these.

I was told that these tires could be put on my Ford Taurus SEL, He said theses tires were for a car, then I told him that LTX means for Light Truck. I love the tires and they handle excellant, but I still have my doubts about these tires being for a car. So you tell me Michelin.

i have run other sets of michelin tires and have been satisfied with each one. these tires have a roar at all speeds and at less than 400 miles. i have never had tires that roared and don't think that i would buy another set of this tire. it may not be a big deal, but i don't like noise in my vehicle it really isn't right to rate the tire with less than 400 miles. my only problem is the roar. michelin is a good brand and i feel like i will continue to buy your product.

I've been waiting for some ice and snow to test these little babies! We got it now, here in Montana!! At first, I was concerned that these tires would be too noisy or reduce fuel economy too much on my 2013 RAV 4. Totally unfounded!! These seem to be great tires here in snow country! The rubber compound seems soft and tacky in the cold temps, and seems to grip the roadways better. Braking in snowy/icy conditions feels strong and I just plowed thru 9" fresh snow confidently They give me a soft, comfortable ride on the hiway. I am totally pleased with my purchase so far (about 1500 miles on them) and plan to put a set on our Honda CRV.

I was a Michelin Man for life until I got 50,000 miles out of my 70,000 mile LTX M/S tires. I paid the higher price to get the mileage that Michelin is known for so I'm really disappointed. My friends are saying the same- they just don't last like they used to. I highway drive back and forth to work and do the occasional hunting trips in my Nissan Titan LE so there is no reason on my part for the excessive tire wear. Sure, to make it better they will give me the 20% for the wear but that does not cover (1) the extra I paid to begin with and (2) all of the extra cost of going thru the mounting process 20,000 miles earlier than expected.
