Dear Totino's, I can tell you without a doubt that your SPECIAL EDITION RECIPE of the pepperoni pizza rolls (50 count) tastes terrible. There's no pepperoni at all and the sausage that is replacing it is aweful! Why did you change a good thing? I hope this is NOT replacing your original pepperoni flavor pizza rolls, if so, you've lost a customer.

This is a quick, easy snack that can be microwaved so the kids can do this themselves. I definitely recommend them to anyone with kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These little guys are weird but delicious. There are so many ways you can cook them, and it does affect the way they taste. I prefer them in the microwave; however, my partner prefers them in the air fryer. I think they are too crispy air fried. They have plenty of filling and are great for a snack or even a meal if you're feeling like having an easy dinner.

I literally came across this page because I was googling how long to keep pizza rolls in the oven as I’m reading the comments I’m saying to myself “ maybe they came across a bad batch or depending where you get it like “ dollar tree “ it might can taste a little different but the comments are right! they taste awful pizza rolls doesn’t taste the same & has little pepperoni to none! Pizza Rolls were a great comfort food and a good return on money. The new Special Edition Recipe is completely disgusting however. I had been warned not to buy them, but when I was in the store the bags of the Special Edition Recipe were in the shelf where the normal ones were so I inadvertently purchased two 50 count bags. I did not see the Special Edition label until after I had cooked them and ate one roll and was immediately confused as to what I was eating. I ate three rolls before I was too disgusted to continue. I went to check the label on the bag and unsurprisingly it was the Special Edition Recipe. Unfortunately both bags were this recipe, so I can hopefully return the unopened one, but will have to find someone to pawn the other ones off on because eating these pizza rolls has made me feel vomitous.

The special edition ones are absolutely disgusting. The cheese was gross. Pepperoni was hard and had a weird texture. The crust was flavorless. Very disappointing and I bought a huge bag. I will have to throw out the entire bag. They taste like a cheap hot pocket. I expect pizza rolls to have a specific flavor and this was not it. Please bring back the original flavor nothing was wrong with them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are so much better than they were 5 to 10 years ago because of things like an air fryer and other quicker easier ways to warm frozen foods gets way better sometimes I forget they can can be made differently than the ways that I know

I can't review the taste of these because we couldn't eat any of them. The pizza rolls had a bunch of black stuff on them that looked like dirt or filth from machinery maybe. Either way we weren't going to taste it. I heated a couple of them to see if the stuff was metallic. It wasn't but the smell of these things was a combination of bleach, wet dog and old grease. They went straight in the trash but the smell lingered so bad we had to take them outside. I cut 1 open and there as barely a small smear of filling in it. So I guess due to rising production costs totinos decided to lower the quality to zero, put less in the bag AND raise the price. This is one more item we won't be buying again.

Make sure to update the ingredients to list that the Pepperoni rolls CONTAIN BIOENGINEERED FOOD INGREDIENTS!!! They now break my kid out into HIVES after eating and I have no idea why until after his doctor visit next week. The ONLY change is that THIS package states they contain Bioengineered Food Ingredients on the label. Cool!!!

They taste nothing like they used to taste, the meat flavor is metallic and off putting, it also has a sweat flavor with fake cheese. Wish they would have not changed the recipe or cut costs on ingredients. Won’t ever buy them again which is a shame.
