Poor Produce

I have bought 2 or more packs of these strawberries at least once a week for the past six months which makes approximately 24 packs. Out of these numbers, I have only found 2 packs that didn't have a rotted and or molded product stuck in the middle of the pack where you couldn't see from top or bottom of the package. This is becoming a problem with most of the produce in the local store. You would think that there would be better quality standards and vendor selections at the Corporate level to insure that customers are getting what they paid for.

Interior mold

I'm someone who carefully looks at produce I'm buying and I thought I picked a good clamshell of strawberries. Unfortunately, when I got home and opened it, there was mold in the middle interior ruining the entire 2 pounds. What a waste of money and disappointment. Driscoll has definitely lowered their product quality. I do not recommend buying.

Terrible. Mold on them when picked up.

This is twice in a row that I have picked up 2- 2 lbs of strawberries that were awful! Some already had mold on them. I figured the first time may have been a fluke, but having it happen twice isn't a fluke. Even thought I put the strawberries in a specialty produce container, to keep fresher than without it, they still got bad and moldy very fast. Unacceptable.

null

Unfortunately, I haven't had the best experiences with these. The first batch was very moldy (but only on the undersides, so I couldn't see the mold when shopping - only once I got home and went to clean them). Then tried to get them yesterday, but there was a glitch that wouldn't allow me to purchase them using scan and go or even at the counter.

Big Beautiful and Delicious!

For reference I picked these up in February for a grazing table at my sister's baby shower. They were INCREDIBLE. Not one bad berry in the bunch and they were huge and sweet! The first thing to go from the grazing table! Everyone kept commenting on how beautiful these strawberries were. They were even set into the container with care. Absolutely get some if you get the chance!

Furry after lessthan 48 hours

I'm really careful about buying fruit, I ALWAYS check to make sure that it is fresh. I check it in the store as best I can and I check it more thoroughly once I get it home. The last batch I bought was totally furry a day and a half after I got it home. Not just one or two, I mean the whole top layer. GROSS

Mold yuck

I don't know how many times I have bought these like other produce. Mold all the time. I went in the store and talked to their "manager or front end whatever" and they are "aware and can't do anything about their shipments". So why sell food with mold? Check your produce!

It's really odd that the fruit looks fine until you get home and try to eat it and it's actually rotten. I don't understand what's going on with Sam's fruits and vegetables for the last year now. every food or vegetable I buy is not edible except for bananas.

I just picked these strawberries today and due to medical reasons I MUST wash strawberries and blueberries etc with vinegar and baking soda prior to eating them. However today I see about 7-8 dead mosquitos in the bottom of the strawberries. I don't know where Sam's gets their strawberries but I'm not liking these mosquitoes in the fruit. I have a picture to prove it
