Picked these up in the COOL-ROOM at my local club. They were ripe very near to perfection. I recall there being only ONE berry that I had to trim. Really enjoyed them on a Belgian Waffle with yogurt and Members Mark whipped Dairy Topping.

Most of these strawberries were large and delicious. I gave 3 stars only because a couple of strawberries were a little past ripe. Still a good purchase overall.

So many grocery stores sell underripe strawberries, it's the least favorite place to buy. Sam's Club strawberries were the perfect ripeness at a great price for the amount purchased.

About a third of them in the middle had started to mold. No way to tell that before purchase. Do not think I would buy strawberries from Sam's Club again

Outside of the quality of the strawberries... the next best thing about them is probably the price. Other locations sell at this same price for only 1 pound

Great price, strawberries spoiled quickly. They last about 4 days. Basically I got half of the berries for that price d/t spoilage. Still a decent value for Hawaii.

Great strawberries. NOT the gigantic ones that don't have any flavor. These are still a great size, and have definitely have genuine strawberry flavor.

I had to go through a few containers to find decent berries. Many of them were moldy. The system they use for dating is impossible to tell which one is fresher. Berries I did get were very good.

Great price they were but they were very hard and not fully ripe. For sure they were "ripened" in a greenhouse and not in the field even though they were red.

Have to check to make sure they are ripe, or not over ripe and I'm good. I Love to buy strawberries from Sam's because they are the best price around.
