This works. There's no fee at all, I don't know why people are talking about that. When you buy it, and you receive it, you don't have to do anything. There's no tax to activate it. Only when you buy gift cards worth over $250 or 25 cards is when you have to activate it. Even then, activation doesn't require a fee.

There is a fee to purchase the card, the receiver has to pay a fee, and you have to pay a fee to have it expedited to the receiver and when they finally get the gift card they have to wait 7 business days for a password to be sent to them so they can activate the card and finally use their gift. I purchased a $100 visa gift card, paid $16.00 for shipping, plus the $5.95 fee to purchase the gift card, once they received their gift, they had to pay $5.38 for an activation fee. That is a total of $27.33 in fees before they receive what was supposed to be a gift, then they have to wait for an activation password to be emailed.

If you want to give someone a wonderful monetary gift then please give them cash. It's wonderful, it's easy to use, accepted everywhere in the country it was issued by, and it even smells good. If you instead wish to give the gift of annoyance and harassment then absolutely buy this non-spendable gift card for the person you despise! It's akin to lighting a pile of money on fire and sending them a picture of it to the unfortunate recipient. This card first needs to be activated by entering your personal information one the walmartgift.com online portal, if you wish to use it online. It also has a long list places it cannot be used, ways that it can be declined, etc. If you wish to speak to a real human and get issues fixed it wont happen. There's an automated number and a physical mailing address. What's wrong Walmart Visa did you get too many complaints that the customer services reps got too expensive? See attached "Contact Us - Customer Support" section with the heading "We Would Be Happy To Assist You" ... Funny, if you are happy to assist why don't you make contacting a human an option, instead of sending us on an endless loop of frustration? This card is amazing, my daughter is 16 and loves to buy things off of ebay, this card works perfectly for paypal ANYWHERE! All you do is click under "Prepaid giftcard" And fill out the information. This is an amazing product and I'm so happy I found it!

Google this item, it has a history of not activating properly. You will have a horrible time trying to get it activated after the fact. Found out 2 weeks after we purchased that mine wasn't activated even though paid the activation fee! Total Rip Off! If you don't keep the receipt then your screwed!

I think these are great if you are looking to spend $50.00 for a gift. The activation fee for this one is only $3.88. I purchased one where you could add any amount from $25.00 - $200.00. And not paying attention the activation fee was $5.88. Just wished Sam`s Club carried this amount in this style in more colors. But I will purchase more of these as gifts for the hard to buy for.

The Visa gift card I purchased worked perfectly and I liked how I could call the phone number on the back of the card to see how Much was available to spend!

just like cash, can use online, at store, pump and to pay bills~ make sure you keep record of card info in case you lose card otherwise you will not be able to get a replacement card.

You can't even use it. It is all fake.

It was very handy to have this card.
