Maybe it was because to me it tasted a lot like cup noodles and less like chicken. I'll try it again in a soup and give it a second chance. As for right now, I would stick to using it to flavor rice and quinoa and the like.

I was afraid it was going to be too salty but it was seasoned very well and didnt come out bland either. I will definitely make soup with these bouillon cubes when it gets colder.

OMG, this is the best I have ever had. I love the taste and there are so many possibilities for use besides just a cup of broth. I am making it as a start for a yummy curry sauce for rice and veggies. It is so easy to use as you do not have to mess with opening up those little cubes. 1 tsp for a cup of hot water and you have an instant cup of soup. Add cooked veggies, canned chicken, rice and you have a delicious and nutritious soup in seconds. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT Please bring it back in stock because I want to buy 3 of them.

I use it in making chicken and rice, chicken noodle soup, chicken dumplings( in the dumplings and in the broth), any chicken that is boiled or stewed. Just be careful of the amount you use, it has a high salt content...treat it as you would salt in your recipes.
