This cheese has a decent flavor, but it is shredded to the point of being crumbles. The old brand Sam's carried was the Daily Chef and it was a much better quality. When it is shredded this much, there has to be much more cellulose to keep it from sticking. I'm disappointed they switched and took away the higher quality product.

I have bought this bagged cheese over past several years and never had a problem with keeping it over a time. However, with the last 2 bags bought at separate times, have developed mold all through the bag. The expiration date is not up and still has 2 months before expires. Very disappointed in this product with purchase of the last 2 bags. I thought it was a fluke with first bag but now question the producers quality control or the quality of the product. I live 35 miles away from club store and not a short trip return it.

I bought this before Thanksgiving and for some reason it did not melt well. I see I’m not the only one. My first receipt for mac and cheese I thought maybe I did something wrong but had the same issue for the next 2 recipes. Fine for salad but I won’t buy again for recipes. Ruined them all.

Daily Chef grated cheddar was definitely better. I’m really disappointed that MANY of my favorite products have been discontinued at Sam’s Club.

This is our go to cheese! It is a great size for the price and tastes great. We used to buy smaller pouches and were constantly buying to keep up with household cheese usage. This large bag of "cheddah" is the only way we go now:)
