This has been value engineered to a ridiculous extent. It cooks ok rice. There is no auto shutoff, you have to unplug it. It tips over when you scoop towards the front because it sits on 3 legs not 4. Rice is usually crispy on the bottom. I can see this being used in a college dorm, not a family kitchen.

I am a single lady and this little Rice Cooker is perfect for just me. It cooks quickly and my rice comes out perfectly. I can hardly wait to try the recipes in the Rice Cooker manual. These products from Dash are just the right size for one or two people. They are also perfect for little ones whose parents want to add some fun to their meals. These products are very affordable also. Thank you Dash!

Over the last 45 years I've owned about a dozen rice cookers, so this isn't new to me. With that said, this is a nice little rice cooker that does a great job of making a small pot of rice simply and easily. I just used it, followed the instructions and the rice came out perfect. Cleanup was easy and one cup was just the right amount for a late-night snack. If I'm making a meal for the family, this is not the cooker I'll use, but I may just keep this in my office for when I want a snack. Just two last things, one - Dash, please consider making a steamer tray for this unit, that would be awesome. The second thing - and this is just me saying, I always wash my rice before cooking and it makes a big difference. Maybe you could mention it in your instructions as an option.

I would say absokute best...but I can't lie! My airfryer is 1000% the best! I use the rice cooker every day, sometimes more! Oatmeal, grits, soups, quinoa, lentils, and the list goes on! My only frustration is (following specific care instructions for cleanin and use!) The non-stick coating has started peeling off in my food! I've had to stop using it for this reason. I've had it for some time as a gift & debating whether to get a new one. Not sure I will, as this is a big issue recurring without a hint of a solution or reparations to the customers I've been in touch with.I do hope Dash reaches out to discuss the ongoing concern that is important healthcare concern (ingesting flaked of non-stick coating.)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing smells of burnt chemicals and plastic when cooking. It gave me a terrible headache and Dash charges for returns. Please be wise and purchase a non-Dash rice cooker. It's not worth your money being taken away.

I love how much you can do with this Rice Cooker and can’t wait to try making Pancakes with the great recipes. You can even make Banana Bread and it’s perfect for someone cooking for one or two! I also love that it’s Pink which is my favorite color!!

I am a pro at cooking rice on the stove but wanted something easy and small for one person meals. This tiny rice cooker is everything I wanted!There is that new appliance burn smell the first couple times using it but after that it’s been smooth sailing since.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made purple rice in my cooker. The only problem is I didn't think about purple steam coming out and coloring everything around the rice cooker. LOL Lesson learned. The rice was nicely cooked and it was so easy to use. I look forward to using it for more culinary delights.

I just got my Dash cooker and I have only used it once but, so far, I’m pleased with the results . It is a perfect size for one person. Only downside — the water levels in the pot are hard to read. I’m sure I’ll get much use out of it ( and I even bought another one to give my son!)

The single reason I didn’t give 5 stars is due to the slightly long cooking process that wasn’t indicated in manual. Rice took around 20-25 mins to cook. Other than that the set up and clean up process was easy, rice was cooked perfectly and didn’t stick to the bottom.
