Used the mini rice cooker to prepare a meal for one. Ingredients included brown rice, frozen carrots slices, small porkchop, and pineapple tidbits. The cooking bowl is a little smaller than my old cooker so I ended up overfilling which caused spillage while cooking. I just need to adjust the amount of my Ingredients in the future. Perfect size for 1 person with no leftovers.

I got the WW version of this DASH mini-rice cooker and love using it. It makes the perfect amount of rice for one or two people with a minimum of fuss. No heavy pans to haul out, no water to bring to a boil on a stove top or microwave. To date I've made regular, purple and kalijira (a mini Jasmin rice) rice and quinoa in this cooker. I used the provided measuring cup for the rice and after comparing the how-to instructions that came with my quinoa and the appliance guidelines, all turned out perfectly. And yes, I've added bouillon and dried minced onion to some of my rice. It would be nice if the was some way to safely rinse the grains/rice when required, in the cooking bowl without having to use something else, but that would be a nice-to-have. (Rinsing kalijira rice is tough because it's so tiny. It and quinoa both require a really fine sieve.) Clean up is easy and fast. I did note that the Keep warm feature on mine works well, but may be a bit too warm. While it didn't burn my rice, the rice on the bottom got a bit crusty. Perhaps if I had stirred the cooked rice up, then left it on "warm " the rice might not have crusted on the bottom.

Love it! This is actually the 2nd one I bought. The first was for my kid to take to college, and we liked it so much I decided I needed one, too. I never had a problem cooking rice on the stove, but this is just so much nicer. Especially now that I'm cooking for one less (since the kid went to college)!

My Mini Rice Maker is 6 years old. Mine does not have the Warm selection. I just want to let others know as well as making very good rice and easy to clean pan, it also heats soup very well. Especially cream base soups. Creamed base soup tends to stick to pans while cooking on stove. The rice pan is easily cleaned with no scrubbing.

I got it today and used it for the first time tonight. How did I live this long without a rice cooker? Well, most of them are huge. It's just two of us, so a big rice cooker wouldn't work. I love my other Dash products, so I thought I'd try it. I love how easy it is. No stirring, no pot watching, and no worries when it's done because it stays warm. This mini is the perfect size. I made a 1/2 recipe, and it was enough for 2 stir fries. Next time, I'll make a full recipe and have some left for fried rice. I've just upped my game! And it's RED! Love it!!!I also make chicken and rice occasionally as a treat for our puppers. They'll be surprised too.

This little rice cooker exceeded my expectations! I stopped cooking mostly because it’s just me. But needed an easier way to whip up some decent meals so ordered this little guy and it’s been great. I can make a meal in less than 30 min. and there’s enough for 2. Want to order the 3 n 1 mini maker griddle but it’s been out of stock forever! Will just have to wait.

My employer honors work anniversary with points you can use toward shopping on Amazon, so when I saw this I immediately knew I had to have it. I’ve purchased other products from this company and have been incredibly happy with their performance, so I’d highly suggest this to anyone!

I absolutely love my mini rice cooker. I use it almost every day, and sometimes twice a day. BTW, the unit draws little enough power that I can use it and my air fryer at the same time without blowing a fuse. I love cooking chunky soup with 1/3 cup of rice in it; it adds more bulk to the soup and is so easy and good. Thanks for a great product!

We’ve been very satisfied with the Dash Egg Cooker that we decided to buy the Mini Rice Cooker. It’s cooks the right amount of the best Jasmine rice for us and as a supplement for our Springer Flat Coat Retriever.These low cost efficient cookers are great for home and ideal for or RV trailer on cross country trips... really innovative products!
