This works so well that I sit it on my covered fire pit, after a few minutes skeeters that are hiding under the edge of the pit start leaving. Never even land on me - they just leave!! If you don’t have one — buy two!!

We have an RV that we keep at an RV Resort which I could never enjoy in the evening because mosquitoes love me. I bought 2 of these hoping that I would be able to sit out with my wife in the evening. No such luck. I still got chewed up.

We go places you would not be able to stand without a Thermacell because of the mosquitos. This Patio Shield works as well as our other Themacell Devices in keeping insects away from us.

I bought this 3 months ago and it worked great. Then one day it stopped working. The ignitor switch no longer worked. Its a bummer because we loved it and it did work. Just poorly made and not durable.

We bought this for our porch/patio. It works very well. Buuut, we run out of fuel well before the pads. You need to buy these parts/supplies separately. Ideally, the fuel cell should be refillable.

I have had an awful time with mosquitos this summer. We have a new imported variety that has made being outside unbearable. This product works well. I can actually work in my patio without being chewed to a pulp.

We bought this hoping it would help with the mosquitos but it DOES NOT. It repels NOTHING! We bought the thermacell along with a box of refills and it was definitely a WASTE OF MONEY! Will NEVER recommend this product to anyone!

Does the igniter run off batteries? I’ve seen lots of comments about the igniter failing to work after many uses. Can you explain how the igniter functions?

Love the convenience and portability of it! Able to bring to the park or beach and easy to throw right I the bag! Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Puchased this 3 days ago. Had a very hard time igniting. Changed the cartridge and still issues. Finally lit it, went out. On my 3rd attempt, it stayed lit for 30 min. Had to restart the whole process again. Total waste of money.
