I previously went through a set of Pilot Sport PS2's on my 2001 BMW 330ci convertible. Those were great tires that were quiet and cornered hard without squeal, but only lasted about 2 years and about 25,000 miles. The new Pilot Super Sports which I put on this past November were as quiet as the PS2's and even slightly better on cornering. With the longer rated tread life at about the same price as the Ps2's they are good evolution of the model. It's not a cheap tire, but it's definitely superior to any other I've had on this car.

I have the Pilot Super Sports on a 5 series BMW with sport suspension and 18" rims. They are fabulous. The car handles like it is on rails. The great added news is the SS tires are great in the rain as well. I have been running Michelin tires for years on all of my vehicles and even though they may initially cost a little more, they are well worth the money!

In my opinion these are the best tires in both wet and dry conditions! Better wet weather traction then the various "all season" tires I have used, and fantastic dry weather cornering and handling. I have also had excellent tread wear for a performance tire. This tire is a winner!!

If you have a budget these are not for you, I've never gotten more than 12K and most of my miles are simple highway. But if performance is your drive, they are fantastic.

I just had a set of Super Sports put on my Audi A3 over APR rims. These tires have almost no rolling resistance. Great turn in and high speed stability.

I now have Michelins on both my vehicles. I bought the pilot ss after much research & it is the best tire ever. Great ride & handling. As this Infiniti is my wife's car, safety is a must.

Brokle these babies in (four tires) immediately on a trip from Phoenix, AZ to Flagstaff, AZ. Lots of switchbacks and opportunities (high speed turns) to test them out. They performed exceptionally well and I feel much safer with them.

I just installed a set of the Michelin Pilot Super Sport on the front and rear of my BMW 335i and the ride and handling is improved beyond belief. By far, the best tire I have ever used. I recommend it hightly! Best handling and much quieter!

I put the Pilot Super Sports on my 2007 Porsche 911S and they are the best tire I have ever used. The car sticks to the road on wet or dry pavement. The best hands down.

Pilot SS are def super sport tires. Very sticky and surprisingly quite for summer tires. Only problem is treadwear not 30,000 miles for sure at least on my A6. Otherwise they the best summer tires in the market now.
