I bought this because it was clear and looked durable, both are true. However, it does not stay in place and it won't lay flat.  It keeps wanting to curl up and it doesn't grip to the shelf.  I thought I'll just tape it down, but the tape didn't stick.  I tried multiple kinds of tapes to no avail. Since I bought several rolls and didn't want to go through the hassle of returning them, I ended up using "Aleene's instant tacky" craft putty to try to hold down all the edges. It didn't work great, but it mostly held down the edges. This all took 3x as long as it should have not to mention the additional expense of the craft putty.

The hassle wasn't worth it.  I would not buy again.

The liner was much shinier on the back than I anticipated but it did the job. Loved the grips on the front. It was perfect for lining my shoe stand/drawers. The previous one I bought had a much more duller back and did not appear as thick as this liner. Overall, I was extremely happy with it.
