[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Stearns and Foster Lux Estate Medium Tight Top mattress is the bed that I sleep on daily. The mattress is thick, purple, and has a logo design on the top. It fits well on my existing queen sized platform bed and no box spring or foundation was required. I like that the mattress is a mix of both soft and firm. I have been sleeping on it for a week, and the mattress feels supportive and comfortable. I use a queen size sheet set and mattress protector with this mattress. Even though the mattress is thick, no special sized sheets are required. I would recommend this to someone that is looking for a quality mattress that is not only supportive but comfortable.

The sleep I get is worth every penny this mattress retails for. The firmness is comfortable for both myself and my wife and we are very picky about firmness of a mattress. The look of the mattress tells you all you need to know from the very beginning, it looks well made. I will be a customer of this brand for life.

As advertised. Very comfortable. First new mattress in 30 years, and what a difference. Quality in workmanship is self evident and the comfort it provides is amazing. The registration process was clear and easy to manage. All around a great experience with this bed. Sales personnel were easy to work with, and no pressure what so ever. Very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions prior to purchase.

I give this 2 stars. I bought this several months ago and for the first little while it was great. But within a short time, less than two months, it was sagging where I usually lay and didn't recover. For the extraordinarily high price of the mattress I expected a long-lasting comfortable and supportive product. What I got was far from that. If I try sleeping elsewhere on the mattress I roll into the dip. The dip itself does not provide the comfort that I need for my bad back. What an expensive mistake this was.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I went from a king size bed to this queen size bed so we had to get used to sleeping that close to each other again, but after we got used to that I slept SO GOOD. I feel like the mattress adjust to my body perfectly giving me amazing support no matter which way I laid. The plush pillow top makes me feel like I am laying on a marshmallow cloud, it is so soft, but the mid firm layer under helped keep me from feeling like I was sinking down to far.

DO NOT PURCHASE THE PILLOW TOP!!!!! We have two body indentions in each side of the mattress where my husband and I sleep. Early on I had an inspection done for this reason and of course they said it wasn't bad enough to do anything about it. We rotate the mattress often but it doesn't help. When the grandchildren spend the night they remind us we have a lumpy bed. And every day, when I make up the bed it is a constant reminder of how bad it looks because you can see the indentions.

The mattress is firm and supportive for your body, but the pillowtop adds a comfy layer so when you climb into bed you are surrounded with comfort. I will say this mattress is very thick and heavy. It's a bit hard to change the sheets because it's so heavy to lift and tuck the sheet under. We are using it on a platform bed so there is no need for a box spring. It is the perfect amount of cushion from the pillow top to give about 3 inches of plush comfort to the firm mattress. The mattress almost cradles you so that any position is comfortable. The mattress is firm enough to support weight on the edge of the bed without feeling as if you will roll off. Mattress bounces back every morning and does not leave indentations where bodies slept. The mattress does not make any creaking sounds when you move around at night either. Love the mix of comfort and support!

Previously I had purchased a mattress that was for side sleepers and thought it was great until I had my hip replaced. With a new hip I found it was like sleeping in a hammock. My new mattress is wonderful, no more hammock feel but a luxuriously firm mattress that allows me to sleep comfortably and longer.
