I've had the new unit for 3 weeks. From day 1, it's had a very loud ticking noise on spin cycle. Had Service Tech out twice now and they can't find anything with it. The Tech left today and didn't hear anything. Right after he left - horrible, loud ticking again through several loads. I made a video of the noise and submitted it. We'll see what happens

I wasn't sure I'd love the single dial versus the traditional washer configuruation of multiple dials and buttons but owning this has changed my mind and I do love this panel layout. There are all manner of different load and fabric configurations that can be chosen from the options menu and it can be further refined to your tastes through the side buttons or the SmartThings app. The added communication with the companion dryer, sending it's load information and automatically configuring for the last dryer cycle, makes this routine task so much easier.

On the installation side, the brackets securing the units to the pedestals are annoyingly difficult to install as alignment requires careful use of screws or pressure to ensure all screws are properly aligned. Everything else about the install was fairly typical with the only other annoyance is the lack of handles like my previous Samsung washer had. The washer cleans well and is fairly stable. It does shake a bit at high speed even though it’s properly leveled. Cleaning appears to be on par with past front load washers. Minor annoyance with the lack of sound volume control. However, notifications to the phone do make up for this largely. My only other complaint is that the top surface scratches extremely easily. Not a durable finish in the slightest.

It is sleek beautiful and a modern (timeless) black color. Since we also moved into our new home at the same time, we have received tons of compliments from all our friends and family who came to our new house warming party. We also bought the pedestals which have been an awesome decision. It makes storage so much easier. Additionally it makes the front load door at a reasonably eight and I dont have to bend much. We also installed the app that goes with this and it is so cool coz it tells us how long is the cycle going to run, what is the electricity consumption, etc. Loving it ! Ah... one last thing - it comes with a rack for the shoes which has been a huge plus given we have kids in school.

It gets my clothes as clean as ever and I think the front load works better than my old top loader. Love the fact that I could stack the washer and dryer and save a lot of space in my washroom. They look great, I like that the doors are clear so you can see inside. There are so many different programmed cycles for different types of laundry and it's just so easy to use. It’s great to be able to check up on my laundry from the phone with the smart things app. Love that the drum is stainless steel, and it’s a very large capacity. I think it’s a great wash machine, it does its job well and I am happy with it. Would recommend if you’re looking for a new washer

This pair is an unbeatable find. The different settings accommodate my needs while doing laundry for my large family & the drums themselves are large and can accommodate my king size comforter with no issues at all. This product is very high quality and you will not regret getting this lovely duo!

This washer wrinkles clothes beyond belief. No matter how slow the spin. One of the cycles has not worked since install and I get an error code tell me to connect my hot/cold water hoses correctly. They are correctly connected. The dryer takes forever to dry.

I also love the fact that you can set it up with your smart devices, so you can keep up with the cleaning maintenance on it. I like the fact that you don’t have to get up to see how much time you have left on your machines and you can also run it from there that is one of my son’s favorite features, As he is only 12 years old and does his own laundry, he loves that he can manage it on his smart phone. I also like the fact that you can stack them up to get extra space in your laundry room. I would definitely recommend these products or any Samsung product. They never disappoint.
