I love my new Windmill AC unit! Delivery was a breeze. I used a TaskRabbit for installation, and the person even mentioned how simple the process was. You don’t need to purchase anything else, comes with cardboard to fit your window unit perfectly (and with a much more pleasing look than those plastic window extenders). Works exactly how O expected: powerful, easy to use, and quiet! Multiple friends have complimented on how nice it looks. I haven’t set up the app for remote control use, but will do that soon. Highly recommend!

Overall the unit is good. It looks nice, it cools the room well but the main issue I have is that it doesn’t remove any humidity from the air. I have the unit installed properly but it has never dripped water. This is a big problem because outside the humidity is often 70%+ and right now the room I have the unit in is 75% humidity. Ac units should pull moisture out of the air but this one doesn’t. I have it set to 68 degrees and fan speed on 3 so I’m not sure what else to do. I’ve had to add a dehumidifier to the room which seems counter productive at this point.

Shipping was quick, product was easy to install and it is churning out cool, dry air in my house. It's working fine and I am happy with it. The only reason I don't give it five stars is that that thermostat isn't quite accurate and I have to set the desired room temperature much higher than I really want it or the unit will keep running and the room will be too cool. But once I figured that out, it wasn't a problem anymore. The only other reason for the four-star rating was that the included panels for the sides of the unit aren't exactly the same height as the unit, they're just a tad shorter, so it detracts from the overall sleek aesthetics. But I am overall very happy with the unit.

Styling - excellent Ease of install - very good Quietest setting - extremely quiet Noise at high fan - quieter than a regular AC, but louder than you may expect App features/functions - great App setup - bad. First one has to get the correct app ,and if you set up the other app you can’t use same email.

I live in NY, and I've been through so many different version of window ac units. When smart ones came out, I was elated. But they were always lacking. Their app was clunky, their design not great, and it was a super loud machine. Windmill is literally the best AC unit I've had.

The app automations just don't work at all about 1% of the time. It works great until it just... totally ignores the rules that were set. Just now I encountered a new problem, the app wouldn't communicate with the unit at all. I tried to manually set it to fan mode because the automation didn't work, and the app insisted it changed to fan mode, but the ac unit itself was still in cool mode. The ac itself works fine but I'm very angry about the spaghetti code app.

The air conditioning unit has some extremely smart features and a couple of simple solutions for chronic issues I've experienced with other air conditioners. With my prior air conditioners in the house every time I removes the plastic cover to change the filter it would never go back on properly and it would rattle consistently. The windmill has magnetic cover something so simple but brilliant

The Windmill AC is a beautiful and easy-to-use product. They've considered every detail when designing this product, from the unboxing experience to the hardware itself. The materials feel high-quality and durable, which is important for a piece of equipment that runs daily such as an air conditioner. My only complaint was that I did not realize there were two different iOS apps based on when the AC was made, so that caused some confusion when I tried to connect the AC to wifi. Otherwise, it is a fantastic product that performs well.

In the Bay Area, we didn’t use to need air conditioning, but in the last 5-6 years, the summers have gotten hotter. I cannot afford to install a house wide air conditioner, so I got a window unit to just keep my bedroom cool. It didn’t do a great job, but it was okay. Then I saw an ad for Windmill and thought I would try it. It has made all the difference in the world. I didn’t care if it was quieter, I just wanted it to cool my bedroom more efficiently. It is everything I have needed. Thank you for such a great appliance!

Windmill makes a great product that’s easy to install, comes with clear directions, and even included scissors to cut the stripping. I was having issues with a unit and they replaced it no questions asked. I will NEVER buy another brand of A/C other than Windmill. Keep up the amazing work and thanks!!!
