As I approach middle-age I find a comfortable bed to be more and more important. I've had a sleep number bed with a 4 inch memory foam mattress for about the last eight years. Lately it was losing inflation and I had back pain after a nights sleep. I didn't think I could find something more comfortable, but I was wrong. This bed doesn't sleep hot. And I'm happy that I was able to find a soft mattress. The only complaint I have really, is that there aren't more soft mattress options among the Tempurpedic products.

I bought the Breeze hybrid first and HATED it - it was like sleeping on a rock and I woke up sore and cranky every morning. We used the comfort guarantee offered at the store to exchange the mattress for the ProAdapt Hybrid and I LOVE it! I don't want to get out of bed in the morning! Supportive but not hard, soft but not squishy. It cost us to make the exchange but I am so happy we decided to do it.

I'll keep this simple, this bed is amazing. Motion transfer, ZERO. Really great when your spouse hops into bed like he's doing a cannonball. No, it doesn't sleep "hot". I'm a very hot sleeper and I stay pretty neutral all night. Also, the cool touch thing doesn't matter much once you put a mattress protector and sheets on, so keep that in mind. I've never experienced the "stuck in the mud" feeling. I'm a heavier sleeper so I was worried about this, but thankfully I can turn and get out of bed just fine. You'll have an adjustment period. I've never slept on memory foam and boy is it different. Not in a bad way, but you'll think that at first. Give it a few weeks. Pricey? Yes. But totally worth every penny. We both wake up feeling well rested and have more energy throughout the day. Sleep impacts pretty much everything you do, why not make life a little better?

This is my second Tempur-Pedic. The mattress delivered is completely unlike the version I tested in a Tempur-Pedic showroom. It is as hard as a rock. My backache this morning is painful. My online sales receipt says "ProAdapt" but does not specify ProAdapt or ProAdapt 1.0 or Pro Adapt 2.0. Yes, I was confused when the warranty drop down gave those 3 choices. The tag on my mattress says 2.0. How was I to know there is more than one version? I am told by customer service I probably tried an older version. 2.0 is currently being shipped. Nothing can be done until the 30 night trial is over. So, I am supposed to be sleep deprived for 30 nights, on this brick that was delivered to my house? I am not interested in letting the mattress confirm to my body or breaking it in. Thank you, Tempur-Pedic for the worst night's' I can remember. Fortunately, I kept my old mattress to give to a women's shelter. Unfortunately, they will not be getting it because the old mattress from 2006 is by far better than this misrepresentation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I have slept on my new pro adapt firm mattress for a week. The material molds to your body very well. However, it is very firm. From what I am reading, it takes some time to break in. If you prefer a firm mattress, this is the one for you. It's very very high quality and I have had pretty great sleep so far.

This mattress gives the support with the comfort needed when arms and shoulders hurt from sleeping on your side. It does not completely cure all of the hurting , but it is better than the Serta I comfort mattress we had been sleeping on the last five years. It is soft with a firm under lay that keeps you on a level plain. I didn't think it would be better than what we had, but I was wrong. This mattress has improved my night sleep. At first, the mattress felt too firm but as I started to get used to it and break it in I am starting to have a better night's sleep. I have noticed that I do not toss and turn nearly as much sleeping on this mattress compared to my prior mattress that needed to be swapped out under warranty. I am so glad I paid for the upgrade on this mattress. I will say also this mattress is a lot cooler than the Tempurpedic mattress I owned in the past. I will say when it arrived it felt too firm but just sleep on it and it will break in just fine. I will say that it is relatively a thick mattress I needed new sheets as they kept coming undone. So just buy deeper pocket sheets especially if you have an adjustable base like I do that I also purchased.

For the price and the fact that I ordered the mattress in soft, the bed still feels really firm and not at all like the ones displayed in the showroom. I woke up with aches the next day. I had to get a mattress topper to try and add some give to the mattress but again, there are plenty of options out there that will give the same results without the exhorbitant price.

our old matress i experience a back pain and always waking up my back shoulder are so hurt, Now that My husband and I got a tempurpedic we love to have a tempurpedic (Firm) my husband is a tummy sleeper and I am a back sleeper we always wake up so good and we always feel a long sleep and not tired when waking up.
