Our previous mattress was medium density but we needed more support after sustaining injuries over the years. I started to have hip pain and my husband back pain. The firm density instantly began to reduce our pain. It took around 1 week to break in the mattress as expected. We are sleeping peacefully and with dramatically reduced pain at night. We are Tempur Pedic clients for life.

After countless hours of searching and reading reviews and even 2 other mattress trials, we finally decided to just go for it. We had a previous Temperpedic that lasted almost 20 years. We looked at other options, but decided to again go with a Temperpedic firm mattress, because of the great quality and long life. This new firm mattress is quite firm, with good support, which we like.

Aft first, we held off on buying a Tempur-Pedic because pricing was over our budget. In hindsight, we should have gotten the mattress sooner. Pressure relief is fantastic and my hips do not hurt in the morning. I stopped tossing and turning during the night and feel rested in the morning.

It "gives"just enough to support your body in all the right places. I tend to sleep hot and so far no issues with waking up sweating. We have had hybrid mattresses from other online companies and not nearly the support and I would get sooo hot on those. I can sit in this one going through my computer for 1-2 hours before laying down to sleep and there is no collapse of the mattress where I was sitting. It is great!

Putting aside the long back-story of how I went from bed to bed for years not finding comfort or consistent sleep, Tempur-Pedic has saved my life! By far the best purchase I have ever made. When I get into the ProAdapt mattress, my focus becomes SLEEP. It is an amazingly advanced mattress in terms of quality, support, and still provides a plush, cloud-like feeling as if you're slowly sinking into the bed, long after you've already laid down. I am getting full nights sleep EVERY night now, am having no issues whatsoever with the product or their wonderful support team, and encourage anyone who is looking to buy a new bed to truly consider making it a TEMPUR-PEDIC purchase! My wife hated it but compromised because I was working. When I retired we got the tempurpedic mattress it was for her I thought. It has been great for me!! No back pain, just comfort!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new mattress. I don't understand how it can give such good support and still be soft enough to sleep on my side. Unless my previous memory foam mattress, this one doesn't have me turning from side to side to relieve pressure on hip and shoulder. I can sleep on one side for hours without any pain. This is important because my sleep apnea means I must sleep on my side.
