We had tried standard box spring mattresses, Sleep Number, and a firm mattress with a pillow top. None were as adaptable and supportive to our contours as this Tempurpedic. We picked up the pillows when we purchased the mattress while waiting for mattress delivery, and they are a definite 10 as well.

We had a Tempurpedic mattress in the past, after ten years decided to retire it, and to save money purchased another brand. Big mistake, I slept horribly and tried two different toppers to help, so no luck and with a sore back we had enough. Returned the toppers, it was too late for the mattress. But we went back to Tempurpedic and got this model and we LOVE it! We will never go back. No more back ache and clocking in hours of sound sleeping. Thank you!

I have waited a few months to provide my review to allow my body and mind to adjust to the huge change. I was previously using a very cheap pillowtop mattress. After 3 months, I can say this is the most comfortable mattress I probably could own, unless I get a few tax brackets higher and find a gold plated cloud some how. My one issue is how I am a hot body person and sleep hot compared to most, I need the AC to blast to keep me from sweating at night because the temperature of my body is held by the bed very well and it is a little hard to stay asleep sometimes for that reason. For hot sleepers, I would recommend another option. As far as the softness, I got the softest option. I was hoping for the most lux feeling with having back support simultaneously. This went pretty well for me so far, but again, the softness makes the bed conform to your body, so when you have the fluffiness around the edges of your body, you are getting insulation from the bed, and that free heat may help or hurt some! I don't like that aspect but I keep AC high anyways because I'm very warm blooded. I haven't had any back problems since getting the bed and adjusting (adjustment took a week or two, body was sore to the bone while getting used to the new mattress). I was having weekly back problems from a car wreck a few years ago. I think I hit the nail on the head for the most part, but thinking back, I would have gotten a slightly-more-firm option than SOFT.

When i got into bed the first night, it felt a little firmer than I remembered from the store trial. I vaguely remember saying, "Oh darn, I hope we didn't make a big mis-zzzzzzzzzz...". About eight hours later, I woke up, fully refreshed and feeling better than I had for ten years. Getting out of bed was easier also, without the usual sore and stiff spots.

When it comes to Tempur-Pedic you can't beat their quality in mattress. It's always hard trying to find the perfect mattress fit that isn't too soft nor too hard, the Temur-ProAdaft is firm, but not so firm you feel like your sleeping on the floor. I'm finally able to get the rest I need and would highly recommend this bed to others who have joint pain.

I have always struggled to find a comfortable mattress as a side and stomach sleeper who has back and hip issues. With my previous mattress, I would wake up each morning with aches and pains, particularly in my lower back and hips. I have slept on this Tempur-Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid for several nights now and I have been shocked by how refreshed I have been feeling in the morning. My back is feeling much better throughout the day and I've not had to take any pain relief medication since switching to this mattress. I really like the combination of both coils and the TEMPUR material. I feel like it really does adapt to my body to relieve pressure in all the right places to help alleviate that pain I was feeling. I also have noticed that I don't get as hot at night, which I think is due to the "cooling technology" in the outer layer (which I have learned is removable and machine washable!!) My husband has also mentioned that my snoring has improved and I'm not tossing and turning all night long like "a fish out of water" in his words. He has loved the improvement in his sleep as well. Overall, I am a huge fan of this mattress and planning to now purchase one for my mother who has similar sleep issues as I suffered from. I will be sure to update my review in a few months and also share my mom's experience.

At first, the mattress felt too firm but as I started to get used to it and break it in I am starting to have a better night's sleep. I have noticed that I do not toss and turn nearly as much sleeping on this mattress compared to my prior mattress that needed to be swapped out under warranty. I am so glad I paid for the upgrade on this mattress. I will say also this mattress is a lot cooler than the Tempurpedic mattress I owned in the past. I will say when it arrived it felt too firm but just sleep on it and it will break in just fine. I will say that it is relatively a thick mattress I needed new sheets as they kept coming undone. So just buy deeper pocket sheets especially if you have an adjustable base like I do that I also purchased.

The mattress, etc. was delivered on Feb. 13th. It is distinctly different from our former mattress. First, it has a soft top and firm inner support. Thus far, we find it very comfortable. My husband was unable to sleep on our former mattress because of hip and back issues. The Tempur-Ergo adjustable base is an additional plus.

Never had such extreme pain in shoulders and hip with tingling in hands , waking up early morning hours such as 12:00 1:00am etc. Not sleeping waiting for our 30 days so we can exchange or get rid of it. Now we are waiting for soft pro adapt praying it will relief pain also purchase adjustable frame. Furniture store where we purchase does not refund how wonderful, so we had to go with another temper pedic. needless to say the expense is out of this world. Living on social security now this will hit us hard . well suck it up butter cup and learn from this experience never again! I google this problem was surprise to find I'm not alone with this discomfort . Just weird. My husband has no problem. I've started sleeping on our old mattress in another room which is strange after 43 years of marriage, and to my surprise the pain has eased up and back to normaL after four days. so I thought I give the bed another try and slept on husband side of bed , well the pain woke me up again and tingling in hands. Keep fingers cross peps that soft pro adapt will solve this problem should be here in another week they say.

We had owned a Tempur Pedic for about 15 years before buying this one. Our primary reason for doing the upgrade was to get the split king. My wife suffered tremendously from COVID. The ICU medical team said she would not survive when they removed the ventilator. But the LORD had a different plan and she is with us today. But she can no longer sleep in a flat position. So we needed a bed that would allow her to elevate her chest and head. We tried a less expensive mattress but sent it back after about three months. We bought the Tempur Pedic and now every night is great again.
