Tempur-Pedic TEMPUR-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid Mattress

Still working on adjusting to a Hybrid from an old style coil bed. Had it for 30 days. Sales agent said to give it 30-45 days to adjust.

Uncomfortable sleeper

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd tempurpedic. I love it! Tried other memory foam beds, they just don't compare.

I would buy one again.

I sleep very well on this mattress. I don't wake up to a morning backache anymore. I would recommend this product to others.

Comfy Sleep

What's there to say? One gets what they pay for, and this mattress is worth the money spent. Best sleep I have ever had.

Awesome product!

After trying several mattresses the ProAdapt was bar far the most comfortable. I love the 'coolness' of it so far as I tend to get warm at night.

Comfort

I’m extremely disappointed with my Tempur-Pedic bed. I specifically chose this mattress and adjustable base setup because it’s marketed as helping with comfort and sleep issues like sleep apnea, which was a major factor in my decision.

After only four years of use, the mattress has significantly broken down in the middle—right where it’s most affected by being propped up on the adjustable frame. This is especially frustrating because the entire system is designed and promoted to be used this way.

I used the bed exactly as intended, regularly adjusting the base to improve my sleep. Instead of holding up, the mattress has lost its structure and support in a very noticeable way, making it uncomfortable and undermining the very reason I invested in it.

To make matters worse, my warranty claim was denied due to a sweat stain. This makes no sense, as the breakdown is not even in the same area as the stain—it’s in the section where the adjustable frame raises the mattress and where my body weight is concentrated. If the stain were truly the cause, the damage would be in that location, not in a completely different area. It feels like an excuse to avoid honoring the warranty rather than addressing a legitimate product failure.

For a premium product that’s supposed to be durable and supportive—especially for people dealing with sleep issues—this kind of deterioration in such a short time is unacceptable. I expected far better quality and longevity. Based on my experience, I will never buy another product from this company. Don’t waste your money. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

TERRIBLE PRODUCT AND WARRANTY

I received my bed 2 weeks before major hip replacement surgery. I live alone and because I was able to lift my self to a position where I could get off the bed by myself, I was able to recover from this surgery without having to go to Nursing facility. Due to COVID I did not want to leave my home. I am recovering very well alone at home and sleeping very comfortable because of the Tempur-ProAdapt Medium bed. I wish the height of the bed frame could be adjusted down about 1 inch so I didn't have to use a step stool. I am only 5"0 tall.
