The Pro Adapt Soft mattress I have sleeps hot, despite following all of the advice from customer service reps. I am petite, under 120 lbs, and over 70. I am also experiencing tingling and pressure when I lie on this mattress. I want to love my mattress and give great reviews, but I am dealing with a dead end. Comfort level is not covered in warranty according to the company. Alan I need your help.

Absolutely NOT for senior citizens, extremely difficult to change the sheets since this mattress is very heavy (queen size). I regret immensely buying it but after spending over $3000 I am stuck for life. 1st time putting a sheet on by trying to lift one side, something snapped in my shoulder & I have not recovered yet from this injury. I wish I could return it & recoup some of my money but I know it's not possible so unfortunately for me, I'll have to straggle with it for the rest of my life (I'm in my late 70's). Sorry Tempur-Pedic, I DO NOT RECOMMEND your mattress, this model or any other Tempur-Pedic model as well especially for older adults. For many years I had Sleep Number bed in king size (2 X twin) but after my husband passing, I moved & downsized so I bought this queen size mattress. I wish I could go back to the Sleep Number mattress & get rid of the Tempur-Pedic one but I can't afford to do just that.

We are a long-term customer of tempur-pedic. We have slept on 2 mattresses over the course of 8 years. Both mattresses lost support and have begun to significantly sag within 2 years. We are not heavy by any means. My husband is 185 lbs. and I am 135 lbs. We use 2 waterproof mattress covers to ensure no sweat gets through, as my husband is a hot sleeper. We have BOTH developed nerve damage in our necks due to the sagging! We have been going to physical therapy and the chiropractor regularly to fix this for the last year and a half. Our arms go numb at night with excruciating tingling pain in the elbows, wrists, hands, and fingers. I have lost many nights of sleep trying to make this pain go away. My husband the same. After we went out of town and slept on a different bed, we knew the issue was with the mattress. Our first mattress we were able to return with warranty. The second however they won't allow it. The dip isn't large enough, which is completely inaccurate! Customer service is subpar. Quality is less than desirable for the cost of the mattress. I will NEVER purchase a tempur-pedic again. It seems their quality has diminished tremendously over the last 10 years. Don't waste your money.... You'll pay for it double time in health costs due to chronic pain and nerve damage.

The firmness of the ProAdapt is taking some getting used to, but it is getting much better. My husband is sleeping better than he has in years. He has back issues and has not been able to stay in bed all night, but that has changed with this Tempur-Pedic mattress. Highly recommend it!

I had a salesman that apparently wasn't very knowledgeable. I have a really bad back and wasn't sure if I needed a medium or firm mattress. He had me lay on a firm lux breeze and it felt really good on my back. He said they lay the same. I've had mine for 3 weeks now I have slept on it maybe 3 hours. I went to a recliner first night on it. It was so hard I don't feel like I even made a indition on it. I can not sleep on it. But yet I have to keep it 30 days before I can return it. I've talked with several sales people but they all tell me they are talking to the manager and will call me back. I haven't received the first call back yet. He also had me lay on the smart ergo base with the wave massage I was so excited to be getting that base. Yet he ordered and they brought us out the base with only one massage motor. So it just kind of vibrates. I also called about this and I was told I can't return the base. I'm very very disappointed in Tempura pedic this was my dream to be able to actually afford one of these beds. But I will never again deal with this company. It could of just been a bad salesman but after calling for 3 weeks now. And not one call back from anyone not even the manager. I've had it with the entire transaction. If I can return it all including the base as well. I will purchase something else. Disappointed in Ky.

As a kid, I always fantasized about getting a Tempur-pedic mattress, so once my husband started to complain about his back hurting on out 12 year old mattress, I knew what we needed to do. We went in for the hype of the purple mattress, but when that fell short in our support category, we started trying out the temper-pedic. The pro adapt firm, is FIRM, SO SUPPORTIVE. The first time I laid on it I laughed because it was so stinking hard, but after we crawled around "hands and knees" as directed by our salesman. I can say that this bed feels like it was MADE for me. It is so supportive but is forgiving in all the right spots!

This bed has made it possible to get some pain free sleep. I have insomnia and have slowly but surely started to gain more hours of sleep. I thank God on Saturday mornings now when I can sleep in and raise my head with the adjustable frame , wake up slowly, watch TV and listen to my pool waterfall with my legs elevated and back up. I am blessed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the third Tempur-Pedic mattress we have purchased. I bought my first one about 20 years ago and just replaced it. When my son was ready for his "adult" bedroom set we bought him a Tempur-Pedic. We all love them! Delivery ad set-up was definitely white glove.

I was impressed with this mattress on the very first night, and have continued to be impressed. I'd always been a bit skeptical when it came a mattress' ability to regulate temperature and keep a person cool throughout the night. In my head I'd say things like, "Ya, right. I'm sure it's a rip off. There's no way a mattress could do that." But, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and take a chance and my goodness, I'm so glad that I did! I'm happy to admit that I was wrong, but I think my body is even happier! Ever since I switched out my old mattress for my new Tempur-ProAdapt, my sleep has drastically improved. Night after night I'm sleeping cooler, more comfortable, and waking up more rested than ever before.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am sleeping on cloud 9 now. We went from a regular pillowtop that after 5 years have up. This mattress seems a bit hard at 1st however did get softer in the next few months. We are both heavy people and we have jumped on the bed a few times, never has an issue. I ordered this online, took less than 2 weeks for delivery. Delivery was so easy and professional. Worth the $$ especially if you add uo all the years of different mattress purchases in your lifetime. We enjoying it!
