I was having pressure point pain for years on my old mattress. From night one, my pain was eliminated. My husband was skeptical and wasn't as excited as me, but one week in he admitted it was the best mattress he's ever slept on. I love the fact that you don't feel your partner moving during the night. Nothing bad to say about this mattress . Best purchase I've ever made!

I was looking to invest in a very good quality mattress and after spending many days researching and reading reviews and then several hours in stores laying on and trying out different mattresses, it ultimately came down to this model vs a traditional custom made mattress. Both were close to the same price point and ultimately I chose the Tempur Pro Adapt Hybrid. I love this bed for the fact that I no longer wake up with neck or back pain, and it is VERY comfortable, however the trade off is that I wake up drenched. Even though this was touted has having cooling properties, I did not find this to work for me. So if you are prone to sleeping on the warm/hot side, this is something to keep in mind.

The ProAdapt Hybrid is the BEST mattress i have ever slept on. I am so happy with this purchase and have already recommended it to other friends in the market for a new mattress. My body feels hugged all night long and i wake up very rested. Highly recommend this all!

Prior to purchasing our Tempurpedic, I had lower back pains from our cheap traditional spring mattress. With our new Tempurpedic ProAdapt Firm mattress, my back pain is completely gone now. I sleep so well and wake up re-energized. We also purchased the tempur brand sheets and they make a world of a difference! I love how the memory foam slowly conforms to your body and cradles you like a baby. The mattress is worth every penny spent and I will be buying only tempurpedic memory foam mattresses moving forward.

I did not intend to buy a foam mattress. In fact I was against it because of my experience years ago. I'm still not sure why I purchased a Tempur-pedic, but I am glad I did. I was ready to send it back after a few nights because it sleeps totally different from a regular mattress. But I decided to give it a fair shot and wow! I am sleeping all through the night with no pressure point pain in the mornings. I am getting a good, restful nights sleep and waking up feeling good again. No back aches, neck aches, hip aches. I wouldn't have believed it.. but I do now.

For me, it does help my back pain because I been having back pain for a long time. This products does help me support my back while i'm sleeping on it. We purchased this mattress after trying it out at the store and reading great reviews on it, my wife is a back and side sleeper and I'm a stomach sleeper and the salesperson highly recommended it. I have always had the standard plush pillow tops and never had an issue but we decided to try one of these out and it was a huge mistake. For stomach sleepers your lower back sinks into the mattress and cause the most uncomfortable sleep and lower back pain when you wake up. For back and side sleepers I'm sure this mattress works wonders but if you're a stomach sleeper I would highly recommend switching your sleeping position or find a compromise on a standard mattress with your significant other, this one is going back and getting exchanged for a standard pillow top again.

I have been sleeping on this mattress for 3 weeks. It feels OK when I initially get into bed. But, I wake up after about 5 hours with pain in my hip & lower leg. Sometimes I also have lower back pain. I usually have to get up & go elsewhere to sleep for another 3 hours. I previously had an Adapt medium mattress for nearly 3 months. It was too soft, made turning in bed difficult & usually caused lower back discomfort. I would sink down into the mattress. I returned it & got the Pro-Adapt firm mattress. It is too firm & does not relieve pressure on my joints as I had hoped. I chose a mattress of foam & without inner spring coils, expecting a more comfortable bed. So far, it has been a big disappointment, especially after I paid so much money for it. I hope that it will become more comfortable with a little more time.

After a long day with my whole body hurting I go to bed and wake up in the morning feeling like I have slept for two days. Even with my 5 hour sleep nights I feel rested in the morning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was on the hunt for a new mattress when Tempur-Pedic sent me this one for free in exchange for an honest review. My husband and I both prefer a soft mattress and we were excited to give this one a shot. It did not disappoint! While it seemed fairly firm at first, it relaxed over a couple of days to become super cozy while still being supportive. (It also took a couple of days to lose the factory scent, but it was never too bad and I just left the window open the first day.) When you lie down, your body slowly sinks into the foam top until you are perfectly supported. I sleep on my stomach and my husband sleeps on his back and we are both feeling fresh in the mornings. We have been sleeping on this mattress for a couple of weeks and we are pretty happy. My one gripe is that the top is very smooth and my sheets will occasionally slip right off over the corners, but it's not an issue I would deduct any stars for. Fresh sheets feel nice and crisp over the smooth surface. It's very warm out but the mattress seems to stay fairly cool. If you like a soft bed, give this one a shot!
