[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress is a little too soft, difficult to get in and out of and unfortunately too warm to sleep in...I have to keep the temperature very low in the house while sleeping. The adjustable base is a nice added feature and the pillows are very nice. I will be returning the mattress.

This mattress was a great purchase! Both my wife and I suffer from back pain and this firm mattress that adjusts has improved our sleep tremendously! We love that we can adjust the height of both the head and feet....this allows pressure to be taken directly off of the lower back. The firmness of the mattress did take a night or 2 to adjust to, but we are so happy with our decision.

Everyone needs a Tempur-Pedic mattress! As a Team USA figure skater, recovery is a HUGE part of my life. This includes proper amount of sleep. Before I was sleeping on a mattress that I had had since middle school. In the past year I had noticed that I was having trouble falling asleep, getting too hot while I slept, and waking up with a sore back or not feeling refreshed. As soon as I started sleeping on my Tempur-Pedic mattress I noticed that I had more energy in the morning, I didn't feel as sluggish. This mattress adapts and conforms to my unique weight, shape, and temperature. It's pretty amazing what a good quality mattress can do for your life!

We purchased the pro adapt hybrid mattress for my husbands painful back but the bed not only helped his back it made a huge difference for my neck. I've had neck surgery and just lived with stiffness and pain. After sleeping on this bed for a week or so , I noticed that my neck and shoulders were relaxed with much less pain! We will never change to a different type bed now!

It took me about 30 days to adjust to this, mattress. But now that I have I would not give it up. It is so comfortable, that I now sleep all night. Where before I would wake up 2 or 3 times a night, being very uncomfortable. My back was hurting so much, I no longer have back aches after sleeping all night.

We absolutely love this bed! Prior to this we had bought a "memory foam" bed on line that was suppose to be amazing (little to no reviews, no one heard of it) and what ended up happening is, it was not good enough! I would get out of bed and my whole body ached! I thought, "I guess this is what old feels like" (I'm 30 years old). My husband stands on his feet all day and would complain of back pain, again we assumed it was being over weight and getting old (he's 33). To our surprise the bed was firmer than the show model and took some getting used to, maybe 5 nights. I immediately noticed a difference when I woke up and stood up from the bed, no pain, and no aches! I feel completely young again! My husband hasn't had back pain since! He has more energy now and we could not be happier! We would recommend this type of bed for everyone! There is a reason why they are the best and we now know, we cant put a price a good sleep! I could't have chosen a better mattress. I sleep on my back, stomach, side and this particular model best accommodates these varied positions. And, the mattress is cool. I just love it. After trying for several months sleeping on different kinds of mattresses made of all organic wool (too stiff/hard and high maintenance), natural latex (too bouncy), cotton and wool (too hard), other kinds of foam (too flimsy), etc., I settled on Tempur-pedic Medium Hybrid. I've been sleeping on it for several weeks now and it is just a very comfortable substantial bed.

We love the Pro Adapt, Firm, only having it for 3 weeks so far. We don't wake up with any aches & pain and don't wake each other up if we get up during the night. It's higher than what we replaced but makes us feel like little kids cause our feet don't touch the ground (I'm 5'7" & my husband is 6'). Just love this bed & highly recommend it, especially if you like hard beds.

I used this mattress for 7 months before exchanging it. I think it is a high quality mattress which just happened to not be the best choice for me; I have exchanged it for another Tempurpedic model. For reference, I am male, 5'10", 175 lb and sleep on my side. I chose the ProAdapt Soft because it felt very comfortable at the store. My old mattress had made my shoulders sore and I wanted that to stop. Pros: 1. Once broken in, I felt no pressure on my shoulders or hips. 2. Mattress sleeps cool when you get to bed and as you fall asleep, even in the summer. 3. It was comfortable to sleep or sit on the edge of this mattress, even at the corners. I never felt I would fall off. 4. It felt well made. Cons. A. It took long for the mattress to break in and feel truly comfortable. About 3 months. B. What initially was a niggling sensation on my side, towards my hip, because full-blown soreness after 4 months or so. I later realized that my hips were sinking in too much. This is why I had the mattress exchanged. C. In summer, the mattress got very warm (but not quite hot) after several hours. When I woke up in the middle of the night or in the morning, I felt very warm. I would advise buyers of this mattress to: - If buying at a store, try it not just for comfort, but also alignment. Go with a friend and even take pictures if you can to assess how straight your spine is. - If buying at a store, make sure the return policy is good. - If you are a hot sleeper, this mattress may not be a good choice. It is initially cool but gets warm later. I will recommend this mattress because I think it will work for some people, perhaps those much lighter in weight than I am.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this mattress 4 months now and have noted much improved comfort and better quality sleep. Very pleased at this point. I do notice a little bit of unevenness across the bottom third of mattress possibly caused by the adjustable base.
