Our old tried and true Tempurpedic mattress lasted over 15 years before it finally began to show our body indents. I was skeptical when we first got that mattress that it wouldn't make much difference in relieving my back pain as it usually would take my back a good 20 minutes to relax and stop hurting. Thankfully, I was really so wrong; from the first night it was great and I was sold on Tempurpedic for life! Fast forward to our new Tempur-LuxeAdapt Firm mattress and from our new very first night, I'm still sleeping like a happy baby and I'm spoiled for life----but in a good way!

This is a great comfy mattress. The problem we are having is the top layer is so slick that our sheets move around too much. We just purchased new sheets from Tempurpedic thinking that might help since they have the elastic at the corners to help hold it but the bottom sheets just slide and don't seem to fit properly. It is pretty disappointing after spending so much money on a mattress. We have tried several different sheets and still have the same issue. If it weren't for that I would have given a Five star rating.

I waited to make this review to allow time to change my mind. My complaint isn't the mattress, its the odor that comes from it. The first night we slept on it I had to go sleep in the guest room. The fumes that came from it were more than I could tolerate. Next night my husband joined me. For three days, we set our mattresses out on saw horses outside to hopefully help with the odor. After those three days, we put them on the frame without any bedding and I opened the window and put a fan on them all day. We continued to sleep in the guest room. After about 10 days, I made up the bed and we slept in it. I am a side sleeper so that puts my face closer to the mattress. My husband sleeps on his back so it wasn't as bothersome to him. Although I enjoy the mattress and enjoy the feel and comfort of it and all that the it does with our special frame, I wouldn't be able to recommend it. I do have a very sensitive sense of smell, but this odor was over the top.

My husband and I both had such backaches waking up from our old mattress that we could barely walk when we got out of bed. Since getting the Tempurpedic mattress, neither of us suffer from backaches any longer. We sleep more soundly and wake more rested too.

We have owned this bed since May 2023. It has a long break-in period. The mattress is still stiff and does not contour to the positions the Tempurpedic adjustable base is placed. Due to my wife's light weight it stays stiff instead of bending. We live in Hawaii so cold temperatures are not relevant.

I wish I would have just bought a regular mattress. Just because of the name Tempur Pedic we thought it would be the best. We bought the soft, but we must sleep in the middle because it feels like we are falling out of the bed. At a price of over $4200 we feel like we wasted a lot of money. The retail store we bought it at will not exchange it because we did not buy "THEIR" mattress cover. Even though we have a mattress encasement.

We were sleeping on 18 year temperpeudic Cal King mattresses. We had aged and with my fibromyalgia I hurt all over.We bought the softest mattress and it has helped my sleeping. My only complaint is that the new mattress is higher than the previous one and I have a difficult time getting in and out of bed.

Not one to write reviews but read several during my research of this mattresses and took them with a grain of salt. We have owned the original Tempur Pedic mattress (the one that came without different softness levels. You just ordered it by which size you wanted and I guess they just cut a slab of material). We had that mattress for years and after breaking it in from its rock hard state it became quite comfortable. As the years pasted (at least 15) I began to have problems with my shoulders as I sleep on my side. Finally decided to purchase a new mattress. My wife did not want to replace the one we had even though it was long over due as she said it was fine for her. We both had concerns that we may end up with an expensive mattress that was uncomfortable but my lack of sleep pushed me forward. I was about to purchase one of the existing Tempur mattress when a friend of mine told me wait a few weeks as they were releasing a new line. The Tempur Lux-Adapt. He said "Its a whole new animal". Taking his word i waited the 3-4 more weeks (guessed he should know as he was a manager at one of the local mattress stores) and said he tried them out at some show. When the beds arrived at our local furniture (didnt purchase the bed from my friend, sorry buddy) store they had the Lux-Adapt in firm and medium. Since our old Tempur mattress was firm and that was also what the Mrs liked I purchased that in a king size along with the Ergo-Extend base. Let me tell you the reviews were right. This mattress is prefect. I'll repeat what I read in other reviews that we really cant wait to get into bed. Its that comfortable. The Lux-Adapt in firm has just the right amout of compression. You conform to about 3-4 inches is my best guess and then you dont continue to sink further. I am six feet tall and weigh 175 pounds and my wife is small and weighs about 100-105 pounds. The bed is comfortable for both of us. she loves it and I constantly remind her that it was my idea! I am getting great REM sleep again after years of tossing and turning due to shoulder discomfort. Fantastic! The only down side some may find is that it sleeps a little warmer that our original tempur pedic. Probably due to the fact that it comforms better. The only other complaint I have is that I bought a second remote for the Ergo-Extend base only to find out you can only use one programmed remote at a time. This is something that needs to be resolved. A bed at this price point and size you should not have to be crawling to the other side to get the remote out from the bedside caddy. We have two TV remotes on each side of the bed just for this reason. Guess its some liability issue the attorneys told them about. Dont want the Mrs to ask you to get something from under the bed that she dropped only to have her lower it down on you! LOL. Seriously this is a software issue and can surely be fixed. Doing so will make the base more easily usable. Not everyone gets in bed at the same time and dont want to have to hunt for remotes. All and all only minor complaints. Literally loving the bed and the great comfortable sleep we're getting. So glad we made the change and glad I took my friends advice and waited for these new mattresses to arrive. If you are considering a memory foam mattress you have to try out a Tempur Pedic, yes they are costly but they last. Considering how much good night's sleep worth and the length of time we spend in bed annually it can be money well spent.

I'm on my second month and I hate to say that I'm not loving it. I think it might be my bedding. My sheets won't stay in place and my mattress is constantly moving causing the gap on my split king to open up all night. I also have to use a step stool to get into bed because with the adjustable base my bed is really tall.

I am so thankful I discovered this mattress. Before getting the Tempurpedic Luxe Adapt Firm Mattress, my husband and I would wake up with terrible back pain and not feeling well rested. The Luxe Adapt is a gamechanger. I feel like I am sleeping on a cloud. The mattress molds to my body which relieves so much pressure. I also can't feel my husband if he moves, which is amazing. I can honestly say this mattress has given me the greatest sleep of my life. Everyone should get this mattress and change their life! Bc a good night's sleep changes everything.
