I had this mattress for 80 days and it was so painful. I would wake up with a sore back and hips each morning. I followed all the advice for breaking in this mattress and it made no difference. I am still doing physical therapy to try and undo the harm to my back and hips. The description says it is cooling but that is not true. I would wake up in the middle of the night because it was too hot. I also bought 2 expensive Tempur-Pedic pillows thinking this would help, but turned out to be a waste of money. They are very heavy and don't provide any cooling benefit. I found another mattress brand that is much more comfortable, provides the needed support for my back and hips and is cooling.

This bed along with the adjustable base and pillow make the perfect combination. I don't think I've ever slept this well. We were looking for a super comfortable bed with great support.This bed provides that and is just the most amazing bed we've ever owned. The zero gravity option takes all the pressure off my back and has seriously helped my chronic pain. I will never own another brand of bed.

Same unbelievable comfort; without getting hot at night. The support it provides is wonderful; and this is coming from a person who has severe back issues and arthritis. We've never purchased a new mattress in our lives, so when looking were overwhelmed with all of the options! We wanted a quality mattress that would last for years, something very soft and plush, and a bit on the cooler side. We felt like the LuxeAdapt Soft was just that. We found it to be soft immediately at delivery, didn't take any time to break in, is cool "enough", doesn't motion transfer as much, and just really conforms to your body. Tempur and memory foams tend to retain heat, so rely on cooler sheets, comforter, and other means to stay cooler. We thought about the Breeze line but soft was more important than cool for us. When you lay on this bed, you sink into it, don't move much at night, but you still feel the support while it conforms to your body. We paired it with a Ergo Smart Base and some Dual Cooling King pillows which are great additions. Only complaint is, I wish there was a mattress protector that doesn't change the way a Tempur feels. Nonetheless, I would recommend this mattress to anyone that is a side, back, and combination sleeper. I sleep on my stomach as well and haven't woken up sore. I'm 5'10 150 lbs and my partner is 6'0 180 lbs. We have slept more over the past few weeks, take naps in the bed instead of on the couch, and just look forward to some time in it.

We finally saved up to buy this expensive Extra Large Twin Tempur LuxAdapt Soft because we also bought the adjustable twin base. We are individually so happy with the mattresses because they fit our bodies perfectly. The mattresses keep our bodies cool, comfortable and we are able to sleep longer too. Best purchase ever.

The firmness provides excellent support for my back, and the "TEMPUR" material molds to my body, alleviating any pressure points. It took a few nights to adjust to the firmness, but once I did, I woke up feeling more refreshed and without any aches or pains. However, if you prefer a softer feel, this might not be the best option for you. Overall, it's a worthwhile investment for anyone prioritizing quality sleep and back support. I was so looking forward to finally having a comfortable mattress, but this is just a sweat bomb. The support of the mattress is nice and it is good for the pressure points, but I wake up soaked in sweat. I was very sad that this one type is not made in a full, I wanted the softness so much that I bit the bullet and got a queen. It makes the space in my room a bit tight. We are in the middle of a heat wave and with no air conditioning I am hating this mattress.

I look forward to going to bed now that I have this mattress. It is worth the money in my opinion. I had been having hip pain upon rising in the a.m., or woke up in the middle of the night due to pain, but this mattress seems to have resolved those issues. It is a great mattress. My only issue is that there are no handles to make it easier to move the mattress from top to bottom, and bottom to top which I like to do every 6 months to allow the mattress to wear evenly. I have a custom made bed which drops the mattress down by about an inch, and it is extremely difficult to pick the mattress up out of there and swing it around.

In the last year starting with the entry level Temper Adapt all the way to the luxe adapt firm. I have tried 6 or 7 different models of the current Tempurpedic line. And by far the absolute best mattress for a heavy back and side sleeper is the Luxe Adapt Firm. I was really concerned being a side sleeper that it wouldn't conform and relieve pressure. Yet its still firm and supportive enough for back support. I can even sleep on my stomach if I want. It's really a one-of-a-kind unique feeling you get on the mattress and it feels really firm but yet you suddenly start melting into it it's really a strange but satisfying feeling. Tempur-Pedic foam is incredible stuff. The saying you here about there's nothing like Tempur-Pedic material is 100% true. It's magical stuff and how it works. And there is not another mattress company in the world who makes the material like they do it's one of a kind. So if your larger heavier person and you're looking for something you can sleep on your side with and your back and get the firmness and support when you're on your back and still get the soft Comfort to forming pressure relief on your side this is your mattress it's incredible

I've always had great experiences with Tempurpedic but I will say this bed is for very specific people. I had a back injury a year and a half ago and I didn't feel the mattress I'd been using over the last year had enough support so I purchased this one. I have always loved very firm beds and assumed it would give the best support for my back. I was wrong. It was too firm and upon some research I found that this would be a good bed for someone much heavier than me with less joint problems. If you have any type of back, shoulder or hip issues this firm mattress is not for you. I loved the firmness but after just a week I woke up in pain every day. I'm switching to a medium hybrid.
