My wife and I got our mattress 2 days ago and we've had 2 of the worst nights of sleep that we've had in a very long time. This mattress is supposed to be soft but it's extremely hard and you can't get comfortable laying on it and it's supposed to keep you cool but my legs were very warm so I had to sleep without a sheet over me.. I guess we are stuck with this horrible mattress for 30 days before we can get something else. One other thing I never realized was the edge has no support at all so it's a bit hard to sit on the edge comfortably.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd Tempur-Pedic bed. I had a king size, which I loved, but when I moved to a senior housing, my bedroom was too small for the bed. So I was able to sell that bed and now have a wonderful Queen size Tempur-Pedic automated bed and I love it. Now I can sit up to watch TV before I go to sleep and the best thing is, I can raise my feet which has helped me so much because I had so much swelling in my ankles. The swelling has pretty much gone now just by raising my feet at night. Tempur-Pedic has changed my life for sure. The bed is a bit high for me because I'm only 5'1" tall, but I'm managing. It is a bit pricey, but I'm thankful I'm able to pay it off monthly, just like I did with my king size bed.

We shopped for MONTHS! We had always had spring mattresses and had always wanted to try a foam mattress. So...we went to every box store around to try EVERY mattress available in the Tempurpedic line several times, along with other name brands, to find the PERFECT mattress we could AGREE to purchase. And of course, the first mattress - Luxe Adapt Soft - was so comfortable in the store but way too soft after a night's sleep. Hubby is 300# and I'm 135# and we BOTH sunk into holes making it tough to move around = not comfortable. We then went with the Luxe Adapt Firm - just amazing! It is NOT too hard, it is PERFECT! The Luxe part is sort of like a Pillowtop on top of a firm but comfortable, supportive mattress. There's a little indent in the mattress that gives you that comfortable feeling and still allows you to adjust position easily. So happy with our final purchase! Thanks!!

If I could give this mattress 10 stars I would! My husband and I slept one night on our LuxeAdapt mattress and it was the BEST night sleep we ever got. I also suffer from back pain and this mattress made my pain go away. I did some research and found out that the TEMPUR material is infinitely adaptable, responds to your body temperature, adapts to your weight and unique shape, giving you personalized support for undisturbed sleep. I honestly don't have anything negative to say! This is one of the best decisions my husband and I every made so if you are on the fence I highly recommend this brand and mattress!

I finally switched from my memory foam mattress to tempurpedic. I have fibromyalgia, severe back, neck and hip problems. I purchased the luxe adapt soft twin long tempurpedic with the electric base. I have not yet had a single night sleeping in discomfort. It adapts to my body no matter what position I am in. The first night I felt like I was floating and sleeping on a cloud. It was heaven. I have a disabled child that requires constant up and down at night to care for her, this bed not only has it given me my life back but has vastly IMPROVED my quality of life. I used to struggle to get out of my old bed and I was in so much pain and stiff. Since I've switched to my new tempur-pedic luxe adapt I do not struggle to get out of bed I'm not in as much pain and I am not stiff. Thank you tempurpedic for designing a mattress that has alleviated so much of my pain! My only regret is not buying this mattress sooner! I love the zero gravity, the light under the bed, and when I struggle to fall back to sleep I turn the massage feature on low and I fall right back to sleep. I have NO complaints about this bed. I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT!

Zero pressure points! From the first night it was sleep perfection! We were concerned it would be too soft, but the supportive layers underneath are perfect. We are now getting the best sleep of our lives, at 135 lbs and 235 lbs, we both love it. Motion transfer is zero. Sleeps cooler than our old tempur mattress, and is even better with the vor-tec cooling mattress pad from Bedgear. You don't get stuck in bed either, you can move around and get in and out of bed easily. Thank you Tempurpedic for the innovation and improvements from your already amazing beds! My back thanks you! I wake up rested and refreshed. We couldn't be happier with our choice. Thanks also to Mor Furniture!

My spouse and I were nervous about spending so much money on a mattress. My spouse has a history of severe back issues and no mattress ever worked for them just right. They would often wake up with significant back pain. We finally decided to take the chance on the TEMPER- after failed attempts with traditional mattresses, and a box mattress. We both could not be happier. This mattress is a dream come true. My spouse does not wake up with back pain anymore. Both of us can come to bed knowing we are gonna get the best nights sleep possible. I have never looked forward to coming to bed so much. It is nice and firm (firmest bed I've ever owned,) my body feels supported and comfortable every night. I can't recommend this bed enough.

When we first got our TP Luxe-adapt in soft, we absolutely did not like it!! For something that's supposed to be soft, it was like sleeping on concrete!! We were ready to return it! But we did like we heard and slept on it for a while and finally after around a month, something changed and I loved it. I read where it has to go through a break in period and something about the cells needing to open up. I guess that's the case! My husband says it's still hard to him but that it's better. Unfortunately he is still having trouble falling asleep on it. Not me though!! My brother has had a TP for 10 years and they love it so we decided to give it a try. LOTS of money, but hopefully will keep us from having to purchase a new bed every 5-7 years. We did not get the adjustable base. Just too expensive for us!! But would have considered if more affordable.

So far it has been the best sleep in my life. We got these in October due to not sleeping well in our almost 5 yr other well known brand mattress. We decided to upgrade with a split platform as well so each one will set up their side of the bed as wanting. So far, I love it and its worth every penny. I just wish its easier to find "king split" bed sets of high quality more often.
