Lumber support is needed to accommodate malformed vertebrae. For the past 17 years, an earlier Tempur-Pedic has done that. Now, this "new kid on the block" has the wherewithal to do the same. So far, it has considerable promise, especially with the adjustable frame. I am pleased.

We have owned 3 TEMPUR- PEDIC mattresses, our first one purchased in 2004. It was the best mattress we ever owned. I would like to see the old ones brought back. Next one was too soft, so we bought this one. For me, it's too hard and too high. We are getting older and it's hard to get in bed with the height. We own an adjustable base, would like to see a base that allows me to control how high the bed is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered the adapt medium which was too soft for me and slept hot so I upgraded to pro adapt firm, it's A lot cooler and the sheets don't sink in and move around.. I noticed the beds do off-gas and need to air out for a few days. Final conclusion- the bed is outstanding it contours to your body the way it should and yes you can still sleep on your side. For the price and the fact that I ordered the mattress in soft, the bed still feels really firm and not at all like the ones displayed in the showroom. I woke up with aches the next day. I had to get a mattress topper to try and add some give to the mattress but again, there are plenty of options out there that will give the same results without the exhorbitant price.

If you are looking for a comfortable supportive firm mattress- go for the medium or soft. I love tempur pedic- but not this one- it is very expensive and I have neck and back pain daily- so disappointing. Before trusting tempur pedic firm and just purchasing- seriously consider getting the medium or soft version of this mattress. You will save yourself over 3000

Is ok. Not nearly as soft as my last mattress. Sides have no rigidity - can't sit on or sleep near the edge, for fear of falling right off. Also it is quite hot compared to other mattresses. Never before have I woke up sweating. For reference, we are using the same sheets, quilt, pillows, and room conditions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had sever spinal fractures and this mattress makes it much easier to get a good nights rest. A firm mattress prevents me from sinking into the mattress and makes getting in and out of bed much easier.

I really like the bed. An adjustable split CA King. I can move and change positions easily and have no back creaks etc. at all. Only one complaint. I am 6'2" and when the adjustable feature is used I slide down and my feet hang over the end of the bed. Pretty minor all in.

Normally if I wake up in the middle of the night, it takes at least an hour to fall back to sleep. NOT now! We've had our Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid for a month and absolutely love it. We tried a different brand of mattress before this and returned it. Best decision I've made in a long time!
