Felt a bit firm the first couple of nights. I walked around on it a couple of times, then it was perfect. My back pain is dramatically improved. Don't know why we waited so long to replace our old mattress. My husband loves it too.

Lying down on this bed is like melting. The bed conforms time your body without making you feel like you are stuck. Seriously the best nights sleep I've had in a long time.

I bought this mattress because of severe back problems. I'm not a back sleeper and this mattress is great for back sleepers and has taken some adjustment as a side sleeper. My one complaint is the motor on the massage positions is very loud.

This is the second Tempur Pedic and I won't be changing. Love my adjustable bed. I start with the Zero Gravity setting with massage to relax, then my personal setting to sleep. Love it!
