Has taken awhile to adjust and still a work in progress. Harder or maybe denser than I like. There was a Tempur-Pedic sales rep in store that day. Sales person ask what I was looking for in new mattress and my sleep patterns. Told her I had good experiences with euro pillow tops while traveling. But she recommended the mattress I purchased over the pillow top. Not sure if might have been more satisfied or not with pillow top. But do wonder about my choice due to the firmness and breaking in period. Know I could return for a fee but will try to make this one work. I am sleeping more sound. So will probably be ok.

Takes time to get used to...and forget putting sheets on these mattresses easily. Just maneuvering around on the bed is like wallowing in mud...very difficult. The bed is so heavy it's pretty much stationary after the helpers leave....and once you get into a spot on the be, you're there - tough to turn over if you're someone that does. Also using the frame that lifts the head and foot , if you lift the head it makes you slide down the mattress, until you're at the bottom of it. I think this will work for me, but it's taking getting used to - I came from 20 year old box springs/mattress Sealy.

With my other mattress I would have to roll out of bed. After 8+ days of this mattress I find my mornings much easier and a super sound comfortable sleep I can actually bend upright and pivot out of bed like a kid again. At 80 and 75 YOA sleeping is critical to us. My wife is a back sleeper and me a side sleeper and this mattress has proven equal to the task of allowing both of us to sleep soundly and thru the night. Not to soft, not to firm (feel like one of the three bears). We decided on this mattress after some friends recommended tempurpedic. Glad we did.

We have been sleeping in comfort on Tempur-Pedic for the last 11 years. We had a 20 year warranty and when our mattress developed a swag we upgraded to a Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid. It took a while for our bodies to adjust to the firmer coil make up but as soon as it did our sleep has never been better. Thank you Temper- Pedic!

When i got into bed the first night, it felt a little firmer than I remembered from the store trial. I vaguely remember saying, "Oh darn, I hope we didn't make a big mis-zzzzzzzzzz...". About eight hours later, I woke up, fully refreshed and feeling better than I had for ten years. Getting out of bed was easier also, without the usual sore and stiff spots.

Normally, I'm a back sleeper and my old bed gave me problems over the last year. My wife suggested that we invest in other bed because she notice the lack of sleep and back problem I have been suffering over the last year. We did our research over the last couple months and came to conclusion that the TEMPUR-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid was the bed for us. For this purchase, I debated between the Adapt and Pro-Adapt. I chose the Pro-Adapt Soft and absolutely love it. It is truly like sleeping on a cloud.
