Nice heavyweight Sunbrella material. The size is great. However it has a strange mechanism for the tilt and is not as adjustable as other tilt umbrellas we have.

Pricier and nowhere near the same fabric quality as my previous umbrella which I purchased from Sam's a few years ago. The fabric on my older umbrella is substantial, canvas-like. No sun peeks through. It has thick ties and a good hem. This umbrella has a softer, thinner fabric, the ties are cheap, and I can actually see the sun shine through the fabric. Perhaps if I didn't have an older model to compare to I'd be happier but I do and it's just not premium to me. Guess that's the way things are now. You pay more for less.

My 3 year old umbrella succumbed to a little windstorm, leaving my deck in the sun. Sam’s had a nice end of season clearance sale. I found a replacement umbrella for a good price. Red was the only available color , so I got an outdoor rug with red in it for the deck. Now I’m in the shade again! The umbrella required no assembly other than inserting and securing the pole into the base. It works really well. Crank it one way to open, and continue to crank if you want the tilt. Crank it in reverse to close it. Super easy! I can’t be without my shady deck.

Best Umbrella Ever! What else could you say about an umbrella that rises easily by turning the handle and when it gets to the top.... wait for it.... tilts automatically by continuing to turn the handle! That's right - you don't have to reach up inside and push a button or something else that pinches the skin on your fingers! Great shade - great purchase! Definitely get the stand, too - this has a lot of fabric to catch wind and you'll need the stout (60-lb) stand to offset the sail!

Received two umbrellas, the first one doesn’t tilt nearly as far as the second one, and the second one arrived with the end of the handle part broken and missing completely from the packaging. Someone must’ve returned it or it was packaged this way without anyone noticing. So frustrating! The colors are great otherwise. I believe had these issues not been present, I would’ve loved them.

I prefer to review after I have had this for a season but Sams Club has been nagging for a review prematurely I think. So far so good. Have only had for about a month. Has been out in sun and no fading so far. Matches my seat cushions. Appears to be made of durable fabric. Time will tell whether the mechanism to expand umbrella holds up. Sunbrella fabric

Very pleased with the easy-snap pole connection and the auto-tilt feature built into the crank mechanism. Both are improvements over older umbrellas we have had. No longer need to fight with a threaded connection or to go get a stool to reach the tilt mechanism. Chose because of the Sunbrella fabric and the ten foot size. The other two features described above were a bonus.

I am incredibly disappointed in the cheap quality of this umbrella! I've had one of these for 6 years and it was the heaviest highest quality on the market. When I replaced it after wind took it flying, I was shocked at the difference in quality. Very cheaply made compared to high quality I'm used to for the price! Disappointed! Fabric is maybe 1/3 the thickeness and the frame as well, each part is maybe 1/3 the thickness, lightweight, cheap! I will look elsewhere in the future. Extremely disapointed!

Bought two a few months ago. Used them for the first time today with the matching base. A bit breezy on the patio. One blew over within five minutes and two of the rods that support the canopy bent about 45 degrees. Tried to bend them straight gently. They both snapped. There went $130. So much for sitting outside this summer.

The Sunbrella fabric is thinner than my past Sam's Umbrella from 3yrs ago. The crank, ribs and pole feel lighter also. No LEDs while my last one's had Solar LED setups at this same price. The price $140 in my opinion is little high, I would rate this umbrella at the $99 level, because of no LEDs, thinner materials. Will this hold to the test of time, don't know.
