The "arms" on this umbrella are very thing anfld bend easily. Also the crank mechanism will fail; the arm broke off leaving this completely un usueable.

It is not very sturdy. First one of iron supports broke and fell out. Wind actually tore fabric and bent . Then wind bent main support pole so bad, you could not open umbrella at all. Buying another just in case we hot a lemon

Don't buy it. We had it up for one week. We bought the base from Sams and the base and closed umbrella fell over and the umbrella broke in the wind. I have 3 other umbrellas that were fine. This one is very cheap.

Bought two of these at the store. They looked great until the wind blew. They were put down and still blew over with the weighted stands I also bought at Sam’s. One is fine and the other one now is bent due to the metal poles being made of cheap and very thing aluminum. Will not buy another one.

I've had this about a year. Buy yourself some Silicone SPRAY to keep the pole operating up and down freely. I agree with others about it falling in even slight wind and this is my suggestion; never leave the umbrella tilted in any breeze. I've noticed that when the umbrella fabric is taut the vents don't open properly to vent the wind. I've had the best luck leaving the fabic loose so the vent opens properly.

I have had two of these umbrellas for two years now and on ordering a third. I live in south Florida and they receive full sun, all day. They have not faded or frayed in two years! Also, I am the person that occasionally forgets to close them and they have went through many afternoon thunderstorms! I do have to say, I have the 60lb base also from Sams to make sure they are secure.

if I could give them 0 stars I would this umbrella is fragile a small wind blow it and broke it I had bought insurance send them pictures and now then tell me that insurance won't cover because of the wind.....now then won't place or fix the umbrella and won't reimburse me the $30 I pay for the insurance very disappointing

Bought this umbrella online because I wanted a specific color not available in the store. Right after my purchase it went on sale for $30 less. When I took it in for a price adjustment I was told I would have to return it and pick out another from the store stock. I explained to them that I wanted that color umbrella and it wasn’t available in the store. They would not let me have this umbrella because I bought it online….. said it had to go into “damaged goods.” (It was never out of the box) Needless to say I left without my umbrella. This policy is absolutely ridiculous!!

Easy bending frame

Purchased at my local Sam's. Very disappointed in the quality of this umbrella. I was unable to assemble the umbrella because the upper tube joint was crushed out of round. The bottom portion of the tubing would not fit. The tubing is thin and easy to crush so I believe it will bend easily in the wind. Returned for a refund.
