We have owned NUMEROUS mattresses over the past 40 years from ones that flip, pillow tops of all thicknesses, the last one being the worst after only one year. I was looking at kickoff of the Temper-Pedic but my husband insisted we purchase the real thing. Ordered it off Temper-Pedic website and received it 8 days latter. Selfie wry was great and they took the other mattress and box spring with them. OMG I am a non-sleeper, well I always have been, until the first night we slept on our new Temper-Pedic medium firmness. It was lights out for 8 hours which is double what I usually sleep. ALSO l, my husband and I both have terrible backs and usually got up half crippled. This wonderful mattress has help GREATLY with this issue also. WE WOULD GIVE THIS MATTRESS A 10 STAR RATING IF THAT SAS AN OPTION. Thrilled we spent the month for it as it is worth every cent.

It's not taken away my back pain at all and I actually wake up very frequently every night. Not sure what the problem is or if I just have the wrong mattress for me.

It supports my body but still lets my shoulder sink in just enough so my neck and back do not hurt!

The hybrid was perfect for us because it wasn't too firm like memory foam sometimes is, and it has little bounce/give that you need to not feel like your on a firm piece of foam. I don't wake up with a sore back anymore and the king size provides plenty of room.

When I get into the ProAdapt mattress, my focus becomes SLEEP. It is an amazingly advanced mattress in terms of quality, support, and still provides a plush, cloud-like feeling as if you're slowly sinking into the bed, long after you've already laid down. My husband wanted a firm mattress and we've had memory foam mattresses before. The Tempurpedic is VERY firm. Initially, it seems like it's TOO firm, but once you're in it, it feels great. We have only been able to sleep in the bed 7 nights since we bought it - LONG story. However, those 7 nights were wonderful! I must say that the "white glove experience" was no big deal. Two fellows delivered it and they were very pleasant, but I have no idea what the whoopteedoo was. It was delivered and put on the bed. Whoopteedoo.

Immediately upon arrival the delivery team advised over and over it would not fit up my interior staircase. They kept asking me what I wanted to do without ever taking the bed off the truck or trying. I said if you're certain it would fit then I cannot keep it. Contacted the team and they advise that is not how it works and they rescheduled delivery. Took another month before they came back. Same delivery team giving me attitude about "trying again here." They almost quit trying before I had to get assertive to tell them to do their job and even offer to help get it upstairs. I ended up doing more of the delivery portion MYSELF. After they left I had to readjust and tighten the bed legs and remove the trash they were supposed to clean and remove. I love the mattress but the delivery experience was pathetic. No one offered any compensation for the experience which is what they boost about. If you order get ready to see lazy delivery team.

Love my new Tempur-Pedic, and the guys who delivered it were great, timely and professional. They were early, removed the old ones & set up the new one all within half an hour. It's my 2nd Tempur Pedic, I bought my first 22 years ago and needed to update. The base is lighter than my old one & quieter, and the mattress itself is double the depth of my old one yet lighter to move for changing sheets, and very, very comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Switching from a conventional spring mattress, this product seems the best choice for us. It has the foam tempurpedic feel but does not swallow you when sleeping on it. Provides good support and comfort both.
