At first I was a bit concern because I have never had a firm bed before. I was so use to a soft mattress that I was wondering if I made a mistake...., BUT now, I wished that I made this purchase a lot sooner... My lower back and legs are so happy now...! I sleep so well especially since I work the overnight shift, sleep is essential.... ! I need my sleep to function on my shift. This mattress makes my sleep during the day much easier to get. I just bought my third Tempur-Pedic mattress. My 2003 mattress is still a running strong. My 2009 mattress is still running strong. I am giving that one away. The one that I bought this time is the Pro Adapt Firm, for the pressure relieving properties. I have never woke up with pains or aches. The mattresses just get better and better every night. If you are looking for a world class mattress, you found it. Pass the rest and buy a Tempur-Pedic. Those that think that they need a firm, think again. The Tempur-Pedics should be purchased according to feel. Just buy one, knowing that they are life changing mattresses. Also forget that they are a flat mattress. What matters most is how you wake up feeling. I write very reviews. I am writing this one for those that want a mattress that will out perform an of the other mattresses on the market. We originally purchased the Pro Adapt Firm, but couldn't get comfortable. It actually made my hips hurt. We were able to exchange it for the Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid. Such a great difference and we love the Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid! It makes all the difference, and my hips are comfortable.

Let's just say, I finally found the perfect mattress. I looked for a year and tried 4 other mattresses before the proadapt firm. We sleep so comfortably and so sound like a baby. We sleep on back and side and it's fine either way. I will have a tempurpedic for the rest of my life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the firm mattress and at first, we thought it may be too firm. However, once we started sleeping on it, it felt wonderful! My back never felt sore and I felt well rested. In fact, my sleep tracker indicated an increase of 1.5 hours of deep sleep each night once I changed to the Tempurpedic mattress. I was more rested, even though my total hours of sleep didn't change. The cooling gel also kept us from getting too hot at night.

We went into our Sleep Outfitters expecting go buy a more standard mattress. After trying several products we were encouraged to try the Temperdic. I have had recent back problems so was not afraid to spend the money on the Pro-adapt. I knew I could return it and choose something else if not pleased. As they say, after 3 weeks use, you will have to "pry this wonderful product out of my cold dead hands." It is just that comfortable. The sales staff at our store was very helpful and not at all pushy.

The Firm hardness is perfect for the both of us and we've had no trouble sleeping since. While in the process of moving house, we had a problem and had to utilize the mattress warranty. This bed is a must! Yes, it is expensive but this mattress is worth every penny. It comes with a 10 year warranty which gives you a hint as to the quality and effectiveness of this product. I finally have a bed that supports me and my joints. With the adjustable base, additional comfort is available. My favorite setting is the sleep setting coupled with the vibrating feature. I don't have a negative comment to share about this mattress. Try it out and see for yourself how much a good night's rest effects your day to day living.

Let me just start by saying that this mattress has literally changed my life. I used to sleep on a traditional spring mattress (that was over 10 years old). I would wake up everyday in pain and not have a restful nights sleep. I could never get comfortable no matter how hard I tried and my sciatica didn't help. I have always been a huge fan of Tempur-Pedic beds. We love our new Hybrid. I love that I can't feel my husband move around and that my back is starting to feel better. The firm was a little too firm for us so we went with the Hybrid and love it. My arm no longer falls asleep when I lay on my side with this bed. It's been a game changer for my back. Very satisfied
