We were experiencing back pain and a sunken down mattress that just did not provide a good nights sleep. We have never owned a Tempur-Pedic before and decided to try one. While it took some getting use to (the feeling is very difference than a regular mattress), we really like the hybrid mattress and now have less back pain while having a good nights sleep.

We purchased a Pro-Adapt Firm, knowing we have 90 days to try it and purchase a different model if that one didn't work for us. After a month, we decided to upgrade. The payment system was apparently down and it took a week to get through to anyone to process the payment. We paid over $2,000 more for the upgrade over a month and a half ago. We still have not received the mattress. I've spent 3.5 hours on the phone on various holds over a couple days, only to be told that the delivery company for some reason has not scheduled the delivery. I was told I would get an answer on this and a delivery date within 24 hours. This was a week ago and I am now on the phone again, trying to get through to someone. I've been on hold for ___ minutes so far and still no one was picked up. I'm on an endless loop of an automated message. Do not buy from Tempurpedic online. If I had to do it over again, I would not buy from them at all. This has been incredibly frustrating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We ordered the split king with two extra long singles and it has been wonderful! I now do not feel my wiggle worm husband move around all night or getting in and out of bed. The edges are firm so you don't feel like you're sliding out the edge of the bed when getting out. The two mattresses stay in place with no problems. There is a split between the mattresses but barely noticeable. It is a little more effort to make but only because we have separate twin sheets so wiggle worm doesn't pull mine off all night. Be are both stomach sleepers so the firm mattress supports us in that position. Best night sleep I've gotten in years other than moving to another room when he kept waking me up! Make sure you try out firmness levels at a local store if you're ordering online.

Requires a period of adjustment but it's the best nights sleep I've had in a very long time. No longer having hip and back pain. The mattress conforms you your body for full support. Have recommended it to others and they purchased one and love it too. The pillows are just as comfortable.

We have never had a tempurpedic before and really wanted to try one, but didn't want to shell out as much money for the other models. We opted for this bed in a box based on the tempurpedic name and reviews. So far, we find it very comfortable and it is just the right firmness. We have slept so much better on this mattress, then with our prior mattress. I also don't get woken up as easily when my husband moved in the night. Definitely recommend!

Finally splurged on a Temper-Pedic mattress, and not only do I love how comfortable it is, my back pain went away and hasn't come back. I'm very glad I bought this mattress.

My husband and I had slightly different needs and both had been experiencing a lot of trouble sleeping until we got our Tempur-Pedic ProAdapt Medium Hybrid mattress. We wake up well rested with no more stiffness! Wish we had bought it a long time ago!

I normally do not do reviews but this weekend, we visited the Frontenac store in Ladue,MO. Corinne- our sales associate was awesome. From the time we arrived and explained we were trying to learn about their beds, their bases, she took it from there. Had great questions from both of us, wanted to understand our sleep regiment and from there began demo process on various mattresses and bases. Great experience. We have never owned a mattress like this before and can't wait to experience it. Corrinne made this a great experience and it was a true pleasure working with her. We left there Saturday, talked about it and returned Sunday. Had a few more questions, tested bed again and guess what- made the purchase.Thank you for everything you did for us as I would highly recomend her to anybody in the St.Louis area that is ready to make a change in their mattress but maybe their sleep style to receive the best night ever. Im typically a stomach sleeper but I can toss and turn, I usually wake up when I toss and turn but not with this mattress I can find myself waking up on my side in the morning on a full night's rest! It's supportive to cradle my whole body, even on my back it feels comfortable and I'm not that big of a back sleeper! highly recommended.

We purchased a King Tempur-ProAdapt in firm. After seven months, we wish we could undo this purchase. Our previous two mattresses were both firm, traditional independent coil. This would be our first memory foam mattress. Neither my wife nor I sleep consistently well on the Tempur-Pedic. This mattress chases you off it - I literally find myself getting out of bed in the morning because I can no longer stand the discomfort my body is feeling, specifically, pain through my pelvis and hip region as well as sore shoulders and numb arms. The hip and pelvis pain is with me continually and the sad part is I have learned to live with it. Recently, a second seven day vacation away from our Tempur-Pedic, I realized my hip/pelvis and shoulders stop hurting within a day or two. I spoke with Tempur-Pedic, but their response was to keep the room cool and to consider purchasing their mattress topper which would *maybe* help soften things up. I never stated this mattress is too firm, there is more to it than that. This mattress brought pain my mid-40's body has never felt. Read reviews and if you're having problems early on, react immediately, we're stuck with this thing now and we'll have to absorb a second mattress purchase in under a year. They claim their customer service is so great, why not try to help someone and send them a mattress topper after they just spent thousands on your product and are now afraid to use it.
