The mattress adapts to your every move, so your spine is properly aligned (with adjustable base); I now have a good night sleep and wake up ache free. The smell of the foam was not strong or offensive to my sensitive olfactory bulbs. The material over the foam is soft as silk, (good), but slippery, my fitted cotton sheets slip off during sleep. A mattress cover was recommended but not purchase, perhaps it will solve the slippery issue ???

I just bought my third Tempur-Pedic mattress. My 2003 mattress is still a running strong. My 2009 mattress is still running strong. I am giving that one away. The one that I bought this time is the Pro Adapt Firm, for the pressure relieving properties. I have never woke up with pains or aches. The mattresses just get better and better every night. If you are looking for a world class mattress, you found it. Pass the rest and buy a Tempur-Pedic. Those that think that they need a firm, think again. The Tempur-Pedics should be purchased according to feel. Just buy one, knowing that they are life changing mattresses. Also forget that they are a flat mattress. What matters most is how you wake up feeling. I write very reviews. I am writing this one for those that want a mattress that will out perform an of the other mattresses on the market. It was to soft for my wife so we exchanged it for free and got the firm bed. Love it and what makes it better is the fact that delivery, pick-up and exchange was all covered with no additional charges.

I waited over four years to finally buy this mattress and I am so in love with it. I will admit the first few days were not good, it took a few days to get used to the feel and I tossed and turned a bit. But now after having it for three weeks my husband and I just love it and sleep so good. Everybody asks me if it's hot and NO it's not all. We live near Sacramento and the Summers are very warm here and I think my old mattress felt so much warmer. Also I got the Pro Adapt Cooling Pillows in Mid height and I love those too. You will NOT regret buying this mattress and pillows.

After talking about getting a new mattress for 5 years, I'm so glad we finally took the plunge with Tempurpedic! The customer contact and support between choosing our bed, shipping, and deciding on a delivery date moved quickly and easily. Getting the bed in and set up was timely and problem-free as well. The best part of all has been the bed itself: so comfortable and relaxing, and waking up without back pain has been a huge game-changer!

I am just in the market for a Mattress and I visited the Englishtown NJ Store and what clean and beautiful displays with pillow covers given to each person for sanitary reason when trying mattresses so you can lay your head on a pillow and not worry about the last person. I would not want to go to another mattress store again otjer than Tempurpedic.

Before we purchased this mattress, I would wake up after about 3-4 hours with very sore hips. I don't have that anymore. I sleep through the entire night very comfortably. We bought the split king and really like that we can roll around and not disturb the other person.

We needed another bed but we only wanted one like the original one we purchased years ago. The Tempur-ProAdapt has met that standard! And we love it! Expensive but worth every penny!

Tempurpedic replaced my 9-y/o mattress and the new one is fantastic. I have back issues that benefit greatly. I like the springs in the hybrid version, but wonder about the "popping" sound of them readjusting when I get out of bed - not a problem, just a new sound.
